Sora held a piece of paper and let his chakra slowly seep into it while attempting to draw according to the structure of the Flying Thunder God marking formula.
However, after only a few strokes, the pattern became chaotic and he could no longer continue.
"Phew, this is really difficult," Sora muttered as he exhaled slowly.
Over fifty Shadow Clones had been practicing continuously for a week.
With that level of efficiency, it was equivalent to training for more than fifty weeks.
Yet even after all that effort, the Flying Thunder God marking formula was only about one-tenth complete, and once he finished that small portion he could not refine it any further.
Sora burned the ruined paper in front of him and jumped onto the rooftop to let the cool breeze blow across his face.
The frustration in his heart gradually disappeared.
If the Flying Thunder God Technique were easy to learn, then Konoha would not have only two people in history who had fully mastered it.
Orochimaru would have already obtained and learned it long ago, and Danzo would have certainly tried to seize it as well.
Thinking this way, Sora realized that completing one-tenth of the marking formula within a week was actually something worth celebrating.
His mood improved immediately.
"Sora!" Tsunade's voice suddenly called out to him.
In the next moment, Sora vanished from the rooftop and appeared inside the room without any visible movement.
He had already mastered the Body Flicker Technique, a movement technique that even many Jonin struggled to learn.
His Body Flicker Technique was even faster than the one used by ordinary Jonin.
This improvement came from his study of the Flying Thunder God Technique,
which allowed him to control his body and chakra with far greater precision when using the Body Flicker Technique.
The Fourth Hokage was famous throughout the ninja world for his speed, and this was not solely because of the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Even when he used the Body Flicker Technique normally, his speed was terrifying.
Not even Might Guy, when opening the Eight Gates, would confidently claim to be faster than the Fourth Hokage,
and much of that advantage also came from the foundation provided by the Flying Thunder God Technique.
"What is it?" Sora asked curiously.
Tsunade had spent the past week gambling on the surface, but in reality she had never neglected her cultivation.
Since she had not called him for anything before, Sora was surprised that she was looking for him now.
"You need to go to Konoha," Tsunade said directly.
"Alright," Sora replied without hesitation.
He did not ask why. If Tsunade told him to go, then it must be for his benefit, and she would explain it soon enough.
"There are three objectives for your trip to Konoha," Tsunade explained.
"First, you must confirm your status as someone who passed the Chunin Exams."
Although the Chunin Exams were interrupted because of Orochimaru's plan, Sora's strength had already been clearly demonstrated.
If he did not become a Chunin while others did, Konoha would lose face. Therefore, he needed to return and complete the official confirmation.
"There may not be many tangible rewards, but your reputation will increase significantly," Tsunade continued.
"This will benefit you whether you work as a bounty hunter or take on missions. Your name will gain respect throughout the ninja world, and everything you do will become easier."
This was indeed true.
Tsunade herself was the perfect example.
Even though she had left Konoha many years ago and frequently lost money gambling, she always had plenty of money.
Although she occasionally raided gambling dens, her wealth was largely supported by her reputation.
Wherever she went, banks were willing to lend her large sums of money, sometimes even without interest.
Even the Daimyo treated her with respect and never dared to raise their voices.
Why? Because of her strength and reputation.
Therefore, returning to Konoha to officially become a Chunin would bring Sora many invisible benefits.
"Second, once you return to Konoha, you will definitely attract attention from Root and the Hyuga Clan," Tsunade said calmly.
"You can use them as training targets. Since you are going there anyway, you might as well make full use of the opportunity."
"And third, which is the most important reason," Tsunade continued, "a few days ago you told me that you wanted to obtain a sword or blade as your weapon."
"Yes," Sora nodded.
Previously, he had never considered using a weapon because he believed the Monster Strength Fist was sufficient.
However, after witnessing the battle between Orochimaru and the Third Hokage, his thoughts changed.
The clash between Orochimaru's Kusanagi Sword and the Third Hokage's Adamantine Staff made him realize that a powerful weapon could be extremely useful, especially when facing multiple enemies.
Even if he never mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, having a weapon would still greatly increase his combat strength.
More importantly, he had discovered that combining a weapon with his Bloodline Limit seemed to increase his power even further.
He also personally disliked using kunai. They felt awkward and ineffective in his hands. That was why he only carried a single kunai at most.
If he had to choose a weapon, he would prefer a sword or blade. However, he would rather use no weapon at all than carry an ordinary one.
Tsunade immediately thought about the weapons stored in the Senju Clan's old family archives in Konoha.
Some of them had once belonged to the First Hokage and the Second Hokage.
Anything collected by those two legendary figures could never be ordinary weapons.
That was the main reason she decided to send Sora back to Konoha.
"I never used swords myself, but I remember that my grandfather collected many weapons back then," Tsunade said thoughtfully.
"Some were for personal use, some were kept for the clan, and others were intended as rewards for those who made great contributions to Konoha.
I remember one sword in particular that was not inferior to Orochimaru's Kusanagi Sword or the Third Hokage's Adamantine Staff, and it might even surpass them."
Tsunade frowned slightly as she tried to recall more details.
Since she had never used weapons herself, she had never paid much attention to them.
The only reason she remembered that particular sword was because it was quite famous and ranked among the best weapons collected by her grandfather.
It was only after Sora mentioned wanting a sword that she suddenly remembered it.
"The former residence of the Senju Clan… so many years have passed," Sora said as he rubbed his forehead.
"Wouldn't the things there have already been taken away by those ambitious people in Konoha?"
"Idiot," Tsunade replied immediately.
"Although the Third Hokage often says he would sacrifice everything for Konoha, he respects my grandfathers immensely, and I am still alive.
As long as he remains Hokage and I am still alive, no one would dare touch the possessions of the Senju Clan."
"Just look at the Uchiha Clan," Tsunade continued confidently.
"Almost everyone from that clan is dead, and only Uchiha Sasuke remains, yet he still lives in that enormous clan compound.
So tell me, who would dare touch the property of the Senju Clan?"
