Fireworks burst across the sky as music echoed through the air. A luxurious carriage forged entirely from pure gold slowly advanced along the street.
Pulling the carriage was not a horse, but a giant dragon covered in pale blue scales.
The White Frost Dragon Lord held his head high as frost-element mist swirled around his body. Even though he was merely pulling a carriage, every movement carried an unmistakable air of arrogance.
His Dragon Aura spread openly, and together with his massive outstretched wings, he looked incredibly majestic.
The demihumans lining the road were completely stunned by the sight.
A carriage pulled by a Dragon Lord. Such a spectacle likely existed nowhere else except in the Sorcerer Kingdom.
"Long live the Sorcerer Kingdom!"
"Long live His Majesty!"
Hearing the endless cheers around him, Naohara's dragon eyes pierced through the carriage curtain as he looked outside.
The demihumans lining the streets were shouting excitedly, waving flowers with all their strength to show their admiration.
Seeing this scene, Naohara could not help recalling a certain saying.
Whether it was demons or angels, to ordinary people, anyone willing to help them would undoubtedly be seen as an angel.
Just like now.
These residents did not even know who their king was or what his name was, yet they were still cheering loudly, supporting them as they ascended to the highest position.
But still...
Naohara slowly turned his head and looked at Momonga and Herohero, who were desperately memorizing their speeches.
A helpless expression appeared on his face.
These kings seemed a little unreliable.
As the carriage slowly advanced, the streets were packed with people, and countless noisy voices filled the air.
Among them were demihumans from the Sorcerer Kingdom as well as spectators who had come from other nations to watch the event.
The endless crowd stretched all the way to the destination of the ceremony.
The Sorcerer Kingdom's most iconic structure.
The Dragon Tower.
Because of certain considerations, the three of them had not demolished the tower but instead renovated it on top of its existing structure.
At this moment, outside the tower in the open plaza, a massive platform stood in front of three enormous statues covered by cloth.
Nine steps led up to the platform, and several figures were already standing there, waiting respectfully.
The carriage slowly came to a stop beside the platform.
The White Frost Dragon Lord untied the harness from his body, walked over to the carriage door, and lowered himself to the ground, using his head as a step.
Under the gaze of countless people, three figures stepped out.
"An Undead?"
Gasps of surprise spread through the crowd as they saw Momonga.
Fortunately, most people had already prepared themselves mentally. After a brief disturbance, they quickly accepted the reality.
The Sorcerer Kingdom itself had been conquered by an Undead army. Having an Undead ruler did not seem particularly strange.
"Why are there three of them? Who are the other two?"
Some people in the crowd voiced their confusion as they looked at the two figures standing beside Momonga.
Wasn't today supposed to be a coronation ceremony?
Why were there two additional people?
"Haven't you heard the rumor? The Sorcerer Kingdom isn't ruled by one king. It's ruled by three kings together. Judging from the situation now, that rumor must be true."
A demihuman who had heard the rumor turned around and explained with a grin.
"That's incredible. Three kings ruling together?"
"Exactly. Just look at the Sorcerer Kingdom's guiding principle. The idea that everyone has the right to pursue happiness was proposed by His Majesty the Dragonoid."
...
Looking at the Dragonoid, the Undead, and the slime-like figure standing before them, the crowd immediately erupted into discussion.
Many began speculating about the relationship between the three.
Some said they were half-brothers from the same father. Others claimed they were master and disciple. The more imaginative even suggested the three were in some sort of marriage.
The Skeleton King and his two little wives.
His Majesty the Dragonoid and his exotic harem.
His Slime Highness and a tentacle paradise.
In just a few seconds, dozens of wildly different little stories had already formed in people's minds.
Fortunately, most people knew where the line was. They only thought about it privately and did not actually say it aloud.
Otherwise, the consequences...
Although most of the crowd continued cheering and accepted the reality of the Three Kings ruling together, a small portion of people still felt doubtful.
Throughout history, there had been rare cases of two kings ruling together, but such situations were always accompanied by bloody political struggles.
Three kings ruling a single nation was simply unheard of.
At the very front of the crowd, the Bloody Emperor calmly observed everything.
Since he already knew the truth, he did not feel confused. However, remembering what Renner had said not long ago, a trace of worry still appeared in his mind.
"Hopefully everything goes smoothly. Otherwise, the Empire..."
The Bloody Emperor glanced at Renner beside him and quietly sighed.
Meanwhile, unlike the Bloody Emperor's complicated thoughts, the Dragon Princess had none of those concerns.
The young queen happily waved both hands and cheered together with the crowd, clearly enjoying the moment.
Under the gaze of countless people, Naohara, Momonga, and Herohero walked side by side up the steps.
Beneath their feet was a carpet woven from materials provided by the Platinum Dragon Lord.
At the top of the stairs, three thrones symbolizing supreme authority awaited them.
As they climbed step by step, a sacred radiance began to appear around their bodies. A rainbow-colored pillar of light descended from the sky and enveloped them, making the entire scene look almost dreamlike.
Upon reaching the top, Herohero stared at the throne in front of him for a moment.
A flash of light passed over his body, and he immediately sat down.
Seeing this, Naohara and Momonga also took their seats on their respective thrones.
Momonga then looked down toward the crowd and raised his hand.
A dragon-headed scepter appeared in his grasp.
"We are the Sorcerer King, the Sorcerer Greed King, and the Black Corrosion King. We hereby declare that the coronation ceremony officially begins!"
The dragon-headed scepter struck the ground, producing a clear ringing sound.
A green glow spread from the scepter, and faint dragon roars echoed from within it.
Momonga opened his arms as his majestic voice reached every citizen present.
"Long live the Sorcerer King!"
"Long live the Sorcerer Greed King!"
...
In an instant, the roar of excitement surged even higher.
The cheers rose like crashing waves, completely drowning out the ceremonial music.
Amid the feverish cries, strands of invisible golden threads slowly emerged and gathered toward the three enormous statues hidden behind the platform.
