A bell clinked as two figures entered a huge building. The taller, bulkier one led the way, while the slender one used the opportunity to look around.
Asher was impressed by the standard Xavier had set. For Xavier to choose this particular building, he had to give him that. The interior was pure glass—not the kind that looked glassy, but a shimmering silver color. The size was five times bigger than the others he had seen all along Daisy Road.
"I thought he doesn't have taste. Seems I was wrong," Asher muttered to himself, waiting for the sales representative to appear.
Xavier had dressed in his usual depressing black. Asher just didn't understand what it was with him and black—same with Enzo, who appeared like a demon most of the time, more like a vampire. He just didn't get them. At least the others tried to dress differently and mix colors into their outfits, but Xavier simply said no.
