The particles swirled in rhythm with the movements of Ellegaard's magic staff, taking the shape of landscapes, ruined castles, and snow-covered places that didn't seem real. And so, the historian known by the noble surname Witherbark began the tale of the ancient prophecy.
"Many years ago, when the humans of the Lands of Nemoria were at war; when the 'spawn of the night' still ruled the darkness of the Land of Ebonthyr; when the waters of Galilea still flowed peacefully before the age of the eternal rain, and when the Land of Helios still bore the blessed light of the gods, four great oracles had a vision of the future."
The particles danced, taking the form of four distinct beings: a fairy—a humanoid creature with colorful butterfly wings—, a four-armed giant—four serene eyes and a lethal presence—, an elf—an ancient and mysterious being of the forest—, and a demi-human with fox ears and nine tails—hidden within a temple behind torii gates.
