He placed his forearm over his eyes, tired despite having slept all night, and let out a long sigh. It was already early morning, indeed. The sun shone, painting this side of the world in golden hues, but for Mitsuki, it was the complete opposite.
The day had begun grayer than any other. He didn't care if the system offered him new options; his mind was so overloaded with information that he didn't want to know anything for a while—that "while" turned into a couple of hours, and eventually, evening came.
The crimson tones spilling through the window finally made Mitsuki bother to try and organize his thoughts.
'A shadow… We were one and the same…' He opened his eyes; he still had dark circles for some reason. 'The shadow died, I think… My memories… The Herald of the Nameless… What is it that I'm feeling right now…?'
