They arrived at the guild. The moment they passed through the door, everyone inside froze in place. Leona smiled confidently at them, gripping Mitsuki's shoulder tightly as if he might run away.
"Your big sis is home, rookies!"
Even though she had been loud enough to make Mitsuki wear an annoyed expression, no one reacted except for a single person. Maya had hidden behind the counter immediately after seeing her mother. Holding her head with both hands, she trembled in fear while squeezing her eyes shut.
Ishimaru seemed to sense the disturbance in the atmosphere, so he hopped around his new friend.
'Relax, Ishimaru. Now that you're with me, you can be sure you'll experience much worse things.'
