Chapter 35 the Truth of Naruto.
As days passed Jiraya tried to find Ren alone, but every time he looked, Ren was with someone. Jiraya was so jealous he almost wanted to pounce on the bastard.
"What kind of luck does he have?" Jiraya muttered, his eyes burning with envy as he watched Ren walking and laughing with Sakura. The day before he was with Hinata, before that with Ino, then Temari, then Akari, then Tsunade, and even Shizune.
"Why does he get to have so much fun?" Jiraya complained. Every girl around Ren was beautiful, talented, and had status and strength.
Hinata was the heiress of the Hyūga, Ino the Yamanaka heiress, Sakura Tsunade's disciple with monstrous talent, Shizune her first student, and Akari an Uzumaki with two awakened Kekkei Genkai.
And Tsunade herself was the world's number one medical ninja, the only living shinobi to naturally awaken Wood Release like Hashirama, one of the best fuinjutsu masters, and the strongest female ninja of the current era.
But what made him more angry was. Ren was a prodigy himself. Even at twelve, he was a monster in human skin. His kenjutsu was unmatched, he had mastered Flying Thunder God, and knew many high-ranking jutsu.
His chakra reserves were greater than Naruto's, even though Naruto was a jinchūriki. "Why could He be both a genius and surrounded by girls ? "
Jiraya could only compare him to one man—Hashirama Senju, the one called the God of Shinobi. But He wasn't a playboy.
"If not for Tsunade showing her Wood Release to everyone," Jiraya thought, "and proving she's ready to fight even Konoha for Ren, the other villages would've already started a war."
"But the situation is already worsening," he continued, his face growing serious. "Someone is fanning the flames, pushing for the Fourth Ninja War to erupt. The villages just need one spark."
"Tsk, if they want war, they can have one. Why worry so much?" Ren's voice suddenly came from beside him as he casually stroked Sakura's hair.
Jiraya nearly jumped out of his skin. "Whhaaa—!?"
He stared at Ren in shock while Ren continued stroking Sakura's hair. "Ren, aren't you done?" Sakura asked.
"Nope."
She rolled her eyes but didn't stop him. Jiraya almost spat blood seeing the lovey-dovey scene.
"Oii, you shameless playboy! How can you deceive those innocent girls?" Jiraya shouted.
Sakura blinked. "Deceive?"
Jiraya nodded righteously. "You might not know this, but this brat is an absolute playboy. He walks around with multiple girls."
Sakura nodded. "Like who?"
Jiraya grinned. Got you now, you playboy bastard.
"Ahem—Hinata Hyūga, Ino Yamanaka, and the Suna princess Temari."
Sakura nodded again, waiting. Jiraya blinked in confusion.
"Umm… shouldn't you be reacting?"
"Well, I'm waiting for you to tell me the names of the other girls," Sakura said, confused.
Jiraya was completely dumbfounded. Shouldn't she be beating him? Why is she asking for more?
He scratched his head. "Didn't I just tell you?"
Sakura looked at him like he was an idiot. "If it's them, then it's fine."
Jiraya froze. His eyes burned with envy and disbelief as Ren casually kissed Sakura's cheek.
"You—!!"
Ren and Sakura walked away as if nothing happened.
"He isn't like Orochimaru or Lady Tsunade," Sakura said. "He's just an idiot."
Ren laughed at her evaluation. Behind them, Jiraya nearly fainted from rage, envy, embarrassment, and heartbreak.
"The world is truly cruel…" he muttered, dragging himself away. "Naruto needs extra training today."
He sighed as he walked. "Here's Ren walking around with multiple girls, and that idiot is sulking over Sasuke and swearing revenge on Orochimaru."
Just thinking about it made him mad. The more he thaught the more angry he became.
"Damn Orochimaru! That bastard came to Konoha and didn't even meet me!" he complained while heading toward Naruto's house.
If Ren had heard that, he would've definitely said Naruto was all about two guy's loving eachothers and marrying a girl to hide their relationship.
