Thank you for reaching the end of Vol. 1: The Week Before the Rain.
When I first started writing this story, I didn't want it to just be about regression or second chances. I wanted it to be about something quieter, the kind of fear that lingers in ordinary life, the kind that doesn't scream but slowly wears you down.
Seo-yeon didn't go back in time to become powerful.
She went back in time because she once felt powerless.
Vol. 1 was about urgency. About grief that hasn't happened yet. About the desperate need to prevent something you already know will destroy you.
But saving her parents was only the beginning.
Because sometimes tragedy isn't the real problem.
Sometimes it's the system behind it.
As we move into Vol. 2, the story will slow down in some ways and deepen in others. The threat won't always be dramatic. It won't always be loud. But it will be real.
Thank you for reading Seo-yeon's story so far.
Thank you for staying through the rain.
See you in the next volume 🤍
