The Antimatter Legion aside—
The Borisin were a different matter entirely.
They were a branch of the Abundance-aligned races, and among them, one of the most dangerous.
Those blessed by Abundance shared a grim "tradition" with the Xianzhou—
Even if their heads were severed,
they could simply stitch themselves back together and keep fighting.
The Xianzhou people had it.
And so did Borisin.
Their regenerative ability ranked among the very best even among long-life species.
On top of that, Borisin possessed a power known as Moon Frenzy.
A mutation ability that manifested alongside regeneration—
further strengthening the body.
When activated, massive growth of bone and muscle followed,
a violent, self-destructive transformation—
One that was completely repaired afterward through rapid self-healing.
This ability almost never appeared among Foxians.
Of course—
The Foxians of Yaoguang were the exception.
Their bloodlines carried traces similar to the Borisin,
granting them Moon Frenzy as well.
Aboard the Astral Express—
Welt Yang stared blankly out the window,
his gaze locked onto Evan.
"A black hole… the Star of Eden…"
"But it's not quite the same…"
"Is this guy really from my homeland…?"
Under the immense pull of the black hole—
Even Borisin wolf-warriors empowered by Moon Frenzy and rapid regeneration
were torn apart like paper.
Above Evan's head,
a massive black hole swept across the battlefield—
Devouring Borisin soldiers and Antimatter Legion scouts alike,
crushing them, erasing them, leaving nothing behind.
When it was over, Evan casually waved the cane in his hand.
The black hole vanished instantly.
All that remained in the distance
was a shattered Xianzhou star skiff.
Enemies?
What enemies?
He hadn't seen any.
To freely summon and control a black hole's size and gravity—
to annihilate enemies while protecting the train—
"…Crossing the stars like that,"
"Could he be an Emanator…?"
After dealing with the Borisin, Evan clearly felt something stir inside his inventory.
That mask.
It twitched—twice—
Then fell silent again.
Evan frowned slightly and looked into the starfield.
This was a dead zone.
The surrounding stars had long since gone dark,
so most factions avoided the area altogether.
Which made it perfect—
Perfect for laying ambushes.
If Xianzhou forces passed through here,
This would be an ideal killing ground.
Given how the Borisin thought,
this probably wasn't their plan.
Soon, the Astral Express pulled the damaged Xianzhou star skiff aboard.
Cargo Hold
Everyone gathered to conduct a quick analysis.
"That's awful…"
"This skiff barely has a recognizable frame left."
March 7th frowned deeply.
It was as if something had ambushed it without warning.
Bloodstains still clung to the wreckage—
along with Xianzhou soul rings.
The blood hadn't even dried.
Yet—
There were no bodies.
That meant only one thing.
The crew had encountered Borisin beast ships
and were wiped out in a single sweep.
As for whether the final blow came from the Borisin
or the Antimatter Legion—
That no longer mattered.
What mattered was this—
They encountered this on the way to Xianzhou.
Which meant—
This trip was about to get far more interesting.
"Wait…"
"There are still some words left here."
Stelle looked hesitantly at Dan Heng.
"Dan Heng…"
"Let me see…"
"'Ming'…"
"'Hui'…"
"These two characters are the clearest. Is there a place in the Xianzhou Alliance with a name like this?"
Stelle and March 7th both turned to Dan Heng.
"It should be the Minghuo Commerce Guild,"
Dan Heng replied calmly.
"The largest merchant guild under the Sky-Faring Commission on the Xianzhou Luofu."
"The one in charge is named Tingyun."
"That's all the information available."
Because of the Dragon Transformation Secret Art,
Dan Heng's memories of the past were unusually clear.
He also retained a rough understanding of the present Xianzhou.
The Minghuo Commerce Guild was one of the major trade organizations,
primarily managed by Foxians and responsible for external commerce.
Warp—Resumed
What had started as a routine stop
had turned complicated because of this wreckage.
Space folded once more.
Trailblaze energy fully enveloped the train.
And then—
The Astral Express vanished from the silent dead zone
and arrived at its destination.
The Xianzhou Alliance—
One of its six great vessels.
The Xianzhou Luofu.
"Wow! Evan! Evan!"
"So this is Xianzhou?!"
"It's huge! Way bigger than Jarilo-VI!"
March 7th dashed to the observation window.
Outside—
A colossal starship spanned the starfield.
Unified, immense, awe-inspiring.
From afar, it looked like a golden celestial vessel,
wrapped in Path energy,
slowly cruising through the cosmos—
Moving with the gravity of a planet orbiting a star.
Overwhelming.
Majestic.
"I've never seen it in person either…"
