"Ayesha!"
Zayn caught her just in time.
Her body was cold.
Blood stained her clothes.
"Call the doctor! Now!" he shouted.
Ryan rushed in.
Within minutes—
The ambulance arrived.
Sirens cut through the night.
At the Hospital
"Her condition is critical," the doctor said.
"She's under severe stress."
"And the baby?" Zayn asked desperately.
"We're trying," the doctor replied.
Zayn leaned against the wall.
Hands shaking.
"This is my fault…"
Ryan stood beside him.
Holding the phone tightly.
With the email still open.
Inside the ICU
Ayesha slowly opened her eyes.
Blurred lights.
Soft beeping.
"Zayn…?" she whispered.
"I'm here," he said quickly.
"I won't leave."
She touched her stomach.
"Our baby…?"
"Alive," he replied.
"Fighting. Like you."
A tear slipped down her cheek.
Outside the Room
Ryan couldn't stay silent anymore.
"Zayn," he said firmly.
"We need to talk."
Zayn followed him.
To the empty corridor.
"What is it?"
Ryan showed him the phone.
"Three years ago," he said,
"the accident that caused Ayesha's memory loss…"
Zayn's face went pale.
"You knew?"
"Yes," Ryan continued.
"And you were there."
Silence.
Zayn looked away.
"It wasn't my fault," he whispered.
"She ran into the road… saving me."
"What?!" Ryan froze.
"There was a truck," Zayn said slowly.
"I was drunk. I shouldn't have been driving."
"She pushed me away."
"She got hit instead."
Ryan's breath stopped.
"You let her take the blame…"
"I was scared," Zayn admitted.
"My family would destroy her."
"So I disappeared."
"I watched from afar."
"I paid for her treatment."
"But never faced her."
Ryan clenched his fists.
"You coward."
Zayn closed his eyes.
"I know."
Later That Night…
Ayesha heard everything.
She stood behind the door.
Tears streaming.
So…
He knew her.
He hurt her.
He hid it.
Her heart shattered.
She slowly walked back to her bed.
Pretending to sleep.
When Zayn returned…
She turned her face away.
Ayesha opened her eyes in the dark…
And whispered—
"Our accident… was because of you."
