The hospital night was silent.
Ayesha slept, finally calm after days of fear.
Zayn sat beside her, holding her hand tightly.
Ryan stayed near the door, watching.
Then a soft knock came.
A nurse stepped in.
"Everything's fine, Mr. Black," she said sweetly.
"Just checking on the patient."
Zayn nodded.
Ryan's eyes narrowed.
Something felt off.
The nurse smiled as she approached Ayesha's bed.
Before anyone could react, she pulled a syringe from her pocket.
"This will make sure both mother and child… don't survive," she hissed.
Zayn's heart froze.
"No!" he shouted.
He lunged forward.
The syringe hit the floor.
Ryan tackled the nurse.
She screamed, trying to fight back.
Zayn grabbed her phone that fell during the struggle.
A message popped up:
"Good job, Mark. Phase Three is complete."
Zayn's blood ran cold.
"Mark… Wilson?" he whispered.
Ryan nodded grimly.
"The manager. The one handling internal transfers. He betrayed you."
Zayn's fists clenched.
"I trusted him… he tried to kill my family."
Ayesha woke as the commotion grew.
She saw Zayn holding Ryan, the nurse on the ground, and Mark trying to flee.
"Zayn…" she whispered weakly.
"I've got you," he said, lifting her into his arms.
"No one will touch you ever again."
Ryan tied Mark securely and called the police.
"Adrian isn't done," Ryan warned.
"But at least one threat is gone."
Zayn kissed Ayesha's forehead.
"I failed to protect you before… never again."
She held his face.
"I trust you," she whispered.
"For now… just stay with me."
He nodded.
"I'll stay. Forever."
Meanwhile, across the city…
Adrian smiled at Lina.
"She's safe for now," he said.
"But soon… the real game begins."
