What Did Mun See?
Emon hugged his sister Mun tightly. After so long, seeing his own flesh and blood made him feel alive again.
"How did you come, Mun?" —Emon's voice trembled.
Mun said, "Brother, your blue butterfly showed me the way. But I didn't come here just to see you."
Emon was startled, "Then?"
Mun's eyes turned serious, "I can see things that others cannot see."
Emon's eyes widened. "What can you see?"
Mun looked out the window and said, "I can see the future of this kingdom. A great danger is coming soon. An evil force wants to devour both our world and this secret kingdom."
Jinir stepped forward and said, "This is impossible! This kingdom is immortal, nothing can enter here!"
Mun looked at Jinir and smiled. "Do you think your kingdom is invincible? Don't you know, your old enemy 'The Commander of Satan' is returning?"
Hearing this, Jinir froze. His face turned pale.
Emon held Mun's hand and asked, "How do you know all this?"
Mun opened her palm to show him. In the middle of her hand was a blazing mark—like a flower of fire.
"When I was little, you once told me, 'There is something inside you.' I didn't understand then. But after you left, sitting by that pond every day, I gradually felt the power. Now I can see what is coming."
Emon understood—the time had come for a new war. But this time, he was not alone—his sister was by his side.
