The car door was pulled open, revealing Lucius, whose veins were popping on his face. He wore the doctor's coat from earlier, and his forehead glistened with sweat.
Soon after he opened his mouth and said those words, he suddenly felt like a thorn was stuck in his throat. His eyes were wide as a saucer while his mouth stayed open.
"You…"
The words didn't come out of his mouth as Caesar turned his head and glared at him.
Lucius swallowed, feeling as if lightning had struck him the moment his older brother's gaze fell on him. His body told him to move and get away from there. He knew that going against Caesar was tantamount to courting death. But as a doctor, he couldn't allow this to happen.
