Chapter 79 - Chapter 79: Krillin Steps In

Dust swirled and rocks flew through the air.

Nappa's massive body was embedded in the mountainside, drenched in blood. His once-imposing battle armor had been reduced to tattered plastic scraps clinging to his frame.

One swollen eye looked like a walnut, a froth of blood hung at the corner of his mouth. He looked utterly defeated.

"Cough… cough cough…"

Nappa struggled to crawl out of the rubble, his body trembling violently from pain and rage.

Humiliation.

Utter, unprecedented humiliation.

The elite warrior who had fought alongside Prince Vegeta across the universe had been knocked away like a ragdoll by a small Earth child.

And with sheer, brute strength, no fancy techniques.

"Unforgivable… absolutely unforgivable!"

Bloodshot eyes blazing, Nappa had completely lost control.

He glared at Trin, who was making faces and bouncing his little rear as if mocking him, and a flood of killing intent erupted.

Orders from Vegeta? Dragon Balls? None of it mattered anymore.

There was only one thing on his mind: erase this humiliating little brat from existence, along with this entire cursed planet.

"I will… turn you… and this entire planet to ashes!"

Nappa opened his mouth wide, aiming straight at Trin.

"Vuuuh…!"

Terrifying energy began to gather in his mouth. The surrounding air twisted and crackled with electricity.

The golden glow intensified. This was Nappa's ultimate attack, the Super Explosive Wave.

This was more than just an energy blast. It was a high-density destructive beam forged by overexerting his own energy, capable of leveling East City in an instant, even piercing the crust of the planet.

"Die, you little brat!"

Boom!

A massive golden column of energy shot from Nappa's mouth, carrying the force to obliterate everything in its path, straight toward Trin.

The beam carved a deep, bottomless trench into the ground. Rocks vaporized instantly, and the air itself ignited from the sheer heat.

Trin, after all, was still young and inexperienced in battle.

The previous Kamehameha had drained him significantly. He was still in recovery mode, stiff and unprepared for such a sudden, devastating attack.

He froze. His face went pale.

The heat alone was enough to melt steel, triggering his instinctive fear. His hands lifted, trying to block, but his body felt as heavy as lead.

"Trin!"

Piccolo and Gohan shouted in terror, trying to rush forward, but the beam was too fast. Faster than sound.

Then, at that critical moment, time itself seemed to stop.

No explosion, no shockwave, not even the wind.

Trin slowly opened a slit of his eyes.

Less than half a meter in front of him, a wide, solid silhouette appeared, seemingly out of nowhere.

It was a tall figure in an orange Turtle School uniform. His bald head shone brilliantly in the light of the energy wave.

At that moment, to Trin, this figure was taller than the highest mountain, stronger than the sturdiest fortress.

It was Dad.

Krillin simply extended his right hand.

The palm was ordinary. No energy clinging, no bulging veins.

He just held his hand there, five fingers splayed, directly in the path of Nappa's city-destroying Super Explosive Wave.

The beam hit Krillin's palm and vanished like a boulder sinking into mud.

Sizzle…

The massive energy column, originally several meters wide, was compressed into a sphere the size of a tennis ball, spinning furiously, emitting angry screeches, yet unable to break through the thin layer of skin.

"This… how is this possible?!"

Nappa kept his mouth open, spraying energy, his eyes nearly popping out.

It felt as if his throat were being crushed by an invisible hand. The rest of the energy was forced back, choking him, turning his face bright red.

"He caught it… with one hand?!"

Vegeta's pupils shrank to pinpoints. Every hair on his body stood on end.

"No energy used? Purely physical strength? Impossible! Even I couldn't casually stop a full-power energy wave like that!"

Krillin ignored Nappa and Vegeta's panic.

His expression was terrifyingly calm, almost casual.

At that moment, his mind displayed the system panel. Golden streams of data scrolled, revealing the overwhelming power contained in his body.

[Host: Krillin]

[Current State: Father's Rage]

[Status Description: When direct descendants face lethal threats, all attributes temporarily increase by 50%, pressure effects double, all energy attacks bypass defenses.]

Krillin glanced at the energy sphere in his hand. The beam capable of destroying a city felt like a harmless toy.

He squeezed his fingers gently.

Pop.

Like bursting a bubble, the energy sphere disappeared entirely, leaving no smoke or residue.

Krillin turned to check on Trin, confirming his son was only startled, not hurt.

He exhaled and patted Trin's head, his touch gentle, almost like stroking a kitten.

Then he turned back to Nappa. His eyes instantly hardened.

Those usually warm eyes had dropped to absolute zero.

No flaring aura, no shouting.

But standing there, he radiated a presence that made the universe itself tremble.

"Hit my son?"

Krillin's voice was quiet, almost casual, like greeting a neighbor.

Yet every word landed on Nappa's chest like a hammer, making his ears ring.

"Did you get my permission first?"

Boom!

The moment the words left his mouth, an indescribable pressure spread outward, filling a hundred miles around Krillin.

This was not malice. It was pure, unrestricted power, breaking the limits of living beings.

The clouds scattered, revealing the black expanse of space.

The earth groaned under the weight, countless rocks defied gravity and floated, then crumbled under Krillin's overwhelming force.

Nappa's legs gave out. He collapsed to his knees.

A fear deep in his soul froze him, leaving no thought of escape.

He realized he was no longer facing a human, but a primordial beast newly awakened.

A deathly silence fell over the battlefield.

Everyone held their breath, staring at the bald figure standing among the ruins, casually crushing energy waves with one hand.

One thought echoed in every mind.

This man was ridiculously, impossibly strong.
