"I am not interested" Alex said, appearing right in front of Davis, trying to slash him.
However, Davis easily dodged it by going to the side. "Whoa, I am serious here you know."
"Why would I ever trust you? After what you did to our parents?!" Alex said, continuing his series of slashes, though Davis dodged all of them with ease with little movement.
"Fine, then, I'll prove it to you" Davis said with a smirk.
As soon as Alex blinked, he found himself in a dead wasteland with nothing but a rocky and dry surface. There were only a few high-level creatures and no God-level creatures in sight. It was the most northern part of the peninsula, which is where the peninsula starts.
Alex stood there in shock, completely speechless for a small moment but then he immediately took up a stance, waiting for any sort of attack from the high-level creatures or Davis.
But in the very next second, he blinked and was now back in the lordking town, right in front of Davis and in the same position as when he was teleported.
"See?" Davis said. "With my power, you can easily go there. Much easier than fighting countless enemies with powerful abilities."
"Do you even think that you can possibly defeat all of them?" Davis said confidently, looking at them as if they were garbage. "You may get lucky by fighting a few weaklings but what if someone as strong as me comes and fights you?"
"Hmph, you offering this for a reason, aren't you?" Alex asked, suspiciously looking at him with a dead stare.
"Oh? How did you know?" Davis said with a wide smirk.
"I will transport all you to the rotting peninsula, only if the brown girl stays behind" Davis said, licking his lips.
Alex immediately took a step back, looking at Ana, who was knocked out. He then looked back at Davis with a disgusted face. "No" He said without hesitation.
Davis, however, smiled even more. "I knew you would say that. Well, guess what? I don't have to take your permission."
Before Alex could realize that he meant, he, Ronx and Ken were teleported to the northern part of the rotting peninsula, the same place where Alex was transported.
"Fuck. Now that's just great!" Alex sighed.
"NO!" Ronx screamed, "What are we going to do?!"
"Continue the mission as usual" Alex replied.
Ronx immediately went pale.
"You are joking right? What about Anthony and Ana? They both are in danger and-"
Alex cut him off mid sentence and replied firmly, "There's nothing we can do now. We are thousands and thousands of miles away from lordking town."
"But! What about them?!" Ronx asked.
"Since you are new, you aren't used to this but things like this happen every mission. The only thing you can do is to move on with the mission" Alex coldly replied, though he wasn't smiling at all and his eyes were completely dead. He wasn't happy about it. "What can we do anyway? Travel for thousands and thousands of miles? By the time we reach, they will already be gone."
Ronx understood what he was saying but he clenched his fists out of frustration, knowing this wasn't right.
"Furthermore, we aren't here to rescue people, we are here to complete missions. You should get used to this because this will happen even more often" Alex replied, taking out a map from his pocket.
Meanwhile, Tears rolled down Ken's face due to Ana being his crush and now she will probably die after whatever Davis does with her.
Ronx understood what Alex was trying to say but this didn't feel right.
"Anyway, we have to continue" Alex said, his eyes and voice completely dead.

Meanwhile, Kenji was in an abandoned building, in fact, he was in an abandoned city, most of the buildings were ruined while some were slightly tilting. There were rocks and craters everywhere, it was most likely a battlefield.
As he walking down an abandoned building, he saw a small group of teenagers in some sort of a camp. They had two tents and a campfire along with a few other necessities inside the abandoned building.
"Man, we only have three days worth of food!" one of the teenagers yelled, his name being Kelvin.
"Should we kill the dead weight?" The other teenager asked with a wide evil grin.
"Oh! You mean her..." Kelvin said with a slight smirk, his eyes saying everything. "Well, she is quite fat so it we will have a lot of meat."
"Why are these kids here? Are they talking about eating a person?!" Kenji thought to himself, looking at them from a safe distance. However, a girl noticed him.
"Who is that?!" The girl said, pointing to Kenji, furrowing her eyebrows.
Kelvin and the other teenager noticed him as well and upon doing so, they picked up their weapons along with a gun, which had only one bullet. "Who do you think you are?! Get yer ass out of here!" A fat man said who looked to be the age of forty, he had just returned. He had the gun.
Kenji immediately started to approach him and as soon as he did, the man shot at him.
However, Kenji easily split the bullet into two, making the pieces go in different directions.
"Wha? How did yer ass do that?" The fat man said, throwing the gun as it was now useless and took out a pocket knife instead. "Don't ya dare get close to me!"
But Kenji teleported behind him and threw his knife onto the floor, kicking him in the process. The kick being so deadly that the man was instantly launched onto the wall.
The other teenagers attacked him all at once. Some tried to slash him, some tried to crush him and one even lunged at him. They attacked him every direction, forming a circle shape but they all failed as with a single slash, all of their stomach were ripped open, their intestines falling out, killing them instantly.
The only person left was Kelvin Kolen.
