Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Profound Technique—Chibaku Tensei

"Ugh, why even bother searching for videos?"

Mecha-Esper, who'd overused his psychic powers, sat down heavily with hands supporting himself. Hearing the conversation, he pointed forward.

"Isn't this a live broadcast? You can find high ground and watch to your heart's content!"

"Oh? You're right!"

"Strange. Why have you suddenly become so smart, Superpower kid?"

"...Get lost! As a superhero, I'm a genius among my peers... wait, what?"

Mecha-Esper, who'd been vehemently refuting the claim, found his voice and body trembling. His expression changed.

"What's happening?! Is it an earthquake?"

The other heroes sensed something wrong.

"The ground... the ground is definitely shaking!"

Just as everyone panicked, hesitating about whether to retreat further, colossal stone walls rose from the earth one after another. They instantly exceeded the height of hundred-meter buildings. The gaps between them closed completely, surrounding the garden square where the giant plant monster was located.

Fine stone chips fell along the high walls, dispersed by air currents at altitude.

The heroes watched as a miracle suddenly manifested. They fell into silence, the sound of swallowing echoing in the air.

A massive shadow loomed over them, forcing them to crane their necks to their highest point just to glimpse the towering rock face above. Carved into the stone appeared to be a row of giant figures with varying expressions...

The heroes stood dumbfounded before reaching a conclusion.

As expected of S-Class. Even their eccentric hobbies are top-tier!

"Well," Wild Siren, clad in armored suit, shrugged and revealed a fact everyone had overlooked, "now the live stream is completely unavailable."

All the heroes: "..."

Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall!

Jordan withdrew his hands, which had been planted directly in the ground. The earth's shaking ceased.

Looking at the giant stone walls that enclosed the sky like a well opening, he finally understood why Madara and Hashirama, even as adults, always liked playing big.

Because it really was...

So freaking cool!

The vines, which had been wreaking havoc moments before, sensed something amiss. Obstacles had suddenly appeared—no bottom, no top visible—like barriers blocking their expansion.

The spike-covered vines, resembling maces, lashed angrily at the stone wall. However, the colossal object, created by thousands of units of Earth Release chakra, merely stood there. Its seemingly terrifying power couldn't even scratch it.

Jordan had skillfully applied force field construction techniques to the Earth Flow Wall. Aside from the obligatory dog-head relief, overall hardness far exceeded steel.

Relentless lashing only chipped away a layer of mud. The towering wall remained unmoved, as if to say—

I'm solid. You got anything?

On this day, the giant plant monster felt the fear of being dominated by Earth Flow Wall.

"If you destroy the city like this, even the rarest plants won't survive."

As the magnetic field swirled in Jordan's hand, a jet-black sphere with its own halo materialized in his palm.

Arcs of electricity danced around the black sphere, causing space to become disordered and distorted wherever they passed. The ruined ground trembled inexplicably. Broken steel was pulled by immense gravity, emitting piercing squeaks as it pointed toward Jordan.

An invisible field of psychic energy sealed off the ruins. Like the calm before a storm, it firmly suppressed the wreckage about to erupt.

To be precise—it suppressed the black sphere in his hand.

"Ninjutsu: Magnet Release!"

"Feel the pain of this city! Chibaku Tensei!"

Naturally, he couldn't create a real black hole by hand. But he had no problem creating a force field core with extremely strong gravity after extreme compression—imitating the Rinnegan's technique.

Instantly, the simulated black hole created by magnetic field manipulation rose into the sky. As controlling psychic power withdrew, the force suppressing gravity suddenly dissipated.

The city ruins, freed from constraints, roared deafeningly. Scrap iron, steel, and all construction debris rushed headlong toward the black sphere—only to be crushed and swallowed by super-massive gravity the moment they approached, leaving no trace.

Buildings, foundations, even soil and rock continued rising into the air. The simulated black hole couldn't digest them fast enough. Decomposed matter enveloped the core, forming an ever-expanding sphere.

In an instant, sunlight in the "courtyard" was gradually blocked by this newborn "moon." Darkness descended.

Deep underground, the giant plant monster's main body was being pulled upward little by little by inverted gravity. Sensing something wrong, the monster desperately grew roots, trying to anchor itself to the earth.

But amidst horrified screams, Chibaku Tensei—which could even seal the Nine-Tails—absorbed enough underground material to uproot the giant plant with its human face entirely.

The plant monster's face opened its huge mouth, emitting high-frequency shrieks enough to pierce eardrums.

"100,000-Year-Old Iron Vine"—Disaster Level: Dragon!

The earth was swallowed by the black hole's gravity. Jordan floated in the air once more.

Amidst crackling sounds of breaking air, vines that had been swirling wildly belatedly lashed out at him. Though each vine exceeded ten meters in diameter, the speed at which they struck was unusually rapid.

A dazzling golden blade of light, bright as sunlight, swept out.

The wildly dancing vines froze for 0.1 seconds before snapping off at the root. Huge severed ends flowed with scalding sap like molten iron. Only a bare, rooted plant monster remained, letting out even more miserable howls.

The instantaneous burst of high-energy particles generated a slashing effect creating temperatures close to the sun's interior. It sliced through steel-like vines as easily as a hot knife through butter.

The flames from earlier explosions couldn't harm it in the slightest—not because it was immune to fire, but simply because ordinary flame temperatures couldn't break through its defenses.

In just a moment, the monster's body was torn apart by gravity and disappeared completely into the "moon."

Jordan produced dazzling rings wrapped in spacetime energy in each hand. Slamming his fists together, the spacetime power from Dimensional Travel generated a flawless Möbius strip.

Surrounding spacetime energy vibrated. Without hesitation, Jordan formed a blade with his fingers. His right hand, wrapped in spacetime energy, slashed downward.

Spacetime fractured.

A giant interdimensional portal leading to the unknown opened. Behind the portal was a deep cosmic sea of stars. Under the light of countless suns, Earth beneath their feet appeared incredibly small.

Dissatisfied with the portal's size, Jordan unleashed spacetime energy from both hands once more.

The newly opened portal was like a zipper being torn open by bare hands. It only stopped expanding when it could accommodate the newborn "moon."
