"Kagome! Are you alright? Are you hurt? Where are the Thunder Beast Brothers?!"
Inuyasha rushed into the ruined courtyard, breathing hard. Behind him, Shippō stumbled forward, panting heavily.
"Kagome!" Shippō ran straight to her side, his small face filled with guilt. "I-I'm sorry! I was too scared just now and ran away… I left you behind!"
With that, he dropped to his knees and pressed his hands flat against the ground in a deep bow.
"I'm really sorry!"
Kagome blinked, then smiled gently.
"I'm fine. Don't worry." She patted Shippō's head softly. "I ran into Lie, and he saved me."
Seeing Inuyasha and Shippō safe made her feel relieved. Although Uchiha Lie had protected her, his overwhelming strength and calm presence had kept her tense the entire time.
Suddenly remembering something, Kagome lifted the yellow fox pelt in her hands.
"Shippō… this belongs to your father."
Shippō froze.
His small hands trembled as he took the familiar fox pelt.
"…Father…"
His eyes turned red instantly.
He clutched it tightly against his chest, tears welling up and spilling down his cheeks.
"Thank you, Kagome… thank you…"
Inuyasha frowned slightly.
"Lie? Who's that?"
Before Kagome could answer, Myoga, perched on Inuyasha's shoulder, spoke in a teasing tone.
"Master Inuyasha, that's the man who beat you so badly last time you couldn't even fight back!"
Inuyasha's face darkened immediately.
"That bastard?!"
He clenched his fists and looked around.
"Where is he? I'll fight him again!"
"He already left," Kagome said helplessly. "And I think he's actually a good person. He saved me… and even gave me some of the Thunder Beast Brothers' Shikon Jewel shards."
She opened her palm.
Three pink shards shimmered softly in the sunlight.
Inuyasha's eyes twitched.
"I don't care who he is. Stay away from him!"
His tone was harsh—but something about it felt… different.
Kagome narrowed her eyes.
"Inuyasha… you're not jealous, are you?"
She leaned closer with a mischievous smile.
"W-Who's jealous?!" Inuyasha stuttered before shouting defensively, "I'd never be jealous over an ugly woman like you!"
Silence.
Then—
"Inuyasha!! Sit, boy!"
BOOM!
Inuyasha slammed face-first into the ground.
The earth shook slightly.
---
Meanwhile…
Far from the ruined manor, Uchiha Lie arrived at a deserted clearing.
With a flicker of spatial distortion, he released the unconscious Thunder Beast Brothers from the Kamui Dimension.
They dropped heavily to the ground.
Still alive.
Still breathing.
Uchiha Lie walked over calmly and searched their bodies.
Nothing.
No money.
No valuables.
Aside from Hiten's Thunder Strike Blade and the Wind-Fire-like wheels beneath his feet, there was nothing useful.
"Tch. Paupers."
He kicked them aside slightly and examined the weapons.
After careful testing, he sighed.
"These seem tied to the Thunder Beast Clan's bloodline."
He infused chakra into them.
Nothing happened.
They were merely slightly tougher weapons in his hands.
And as a ninja, he was not skilled with polearms like the Thunder Strike Blade anyway.
"What a waste."
He tossed both weapons into the Kamui Dimension.
In this world, a demon's strength often depended on their magical treasures.
Just like Inuyasha—
Without Tessaiga, his combat power dropped dramatically.
With it, he became far more dangerous.
Uchiha Lie glanced down at the unconscious brothers.
"You've served your purpose."
He unrolled a Sealing Scroll.
"Seal."
The scroll glowed with powerful suction.
Pale green life force began draining from their bodies.
Their skin shriveled.
Their flesh withered.
Within moments—
Two skeletons lay on the ground.
Uchiha Lie rolled up the scroll.
He could feel the rich life force stored inside.
A satisfied smile appeared.
Then he disappeared into the forest.
---
Days Later
"So boring…"
Uchiha Lie lay stretched across a thick tree branch.
A yellowed book rested on his chest as he stared lazily at the clear blue sky.
Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting shifting patterns across his pale, cracked skin.
Several days had passed.
Using Shikon Jewel shards as bait, he had lured many demons into his range and eliminated them.
The result?
The weaker demons nearby were either dead—
Or too terrified to approach.
His life-force collection had slowed down.
He was… idle.
"I need something new to do."
He lifted the book and stored it in the Kamui Dimension.
The book had belonged to a blind Demon Slayer who had once mistaken him for a demon and attacked recklessly.
After knocking the man out, Lie had taken the book.
It recorded information about common demons in this world.
Fortunately, the writing system was similar enough to his own world's language that he could read it without difficulty.
Standing atop the tree, he scanned the horizon.
At the foot of a nearby mountain, he spotted a human village.
"I'll head there. Maybe they know where the nearest Castle Town is."
He leapt down lightly.
Chakra gathered beneath his feet as he dashed through the forest.
Before entering the village, he used the Transformation Jutsu.
His appearance shifted into that of a wandering samurai wearing worn robes, a katana hanging at his waist.
He stepped into the village calmly.

Rumors
As he walked along the dirt road, he overheard two villagers speaking in hushed tones.
"Did you hear? Kumakichi's house was robbed again yesterday."
"Sigh… that's the fifth house," the other replied bitterly. "That thief steals all the grain. How are we supposed to survive?"
Uchiha Lie paused.
A thief?
Interesting.
He stepped forward.
"Excuse me. What happened?"
The villagers saw the katana at his waist and immediately straightened nervously.
"L-Lord Samurai!"
One of them bowed deeply.
"It's just a thief, my lord. For several days now, someone has been sneaking into homes and stealing food."
"Only food?"
"Yes. Only grain and dried supplies. Nothing else."
Uchiha Lie's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Tell me everything."
His tone was calm—
But carried unquestionable authority.
The villagers quickly began explaining in detail.
And for the first time in days—
A faint spark of interest appeared in Uchiha Lie's eyes.
Perhaps—
This "food thief" was not as simple as it sounded.
