Chapter 108:
Kree Reconnaissance ShipDeck Battlefield
Deadpool was squatting over a unconscious Kree soldier.
He wiped the blood off his blades with the soldier's cape while humming a horribly off-key little tune.
"Uncle Deadpool's blades, shiny and bright! Slicing Kree, feels so right!"
"Wade!"
Captain America finally lost his patience and roared, "Fuck! Can you be serious for once?!"
Steve felt his blood pressure skyrocketing. This was even more infuriating than when he first learned his boss was a half-automatic cotton machine.
"I am being serious!"
Deadpool spread his hands innocently. "Look, I even left them with full corpses! How merciful!"
Tony's armor hovered in mid-air, repulsors on alert, but the expression behind the faceplate was grave.
"Old popsicle, something's wrong."
"The Kree's resistance is too weak. This doesn't feel like the combat power a reconnaissance ship should have."
Natasha and Hawkeye stood back-to-back, long knives held horizontally, their gazes warily scanning the surroundings.
"They're stalling for time."
Natasha narrowed her eyes. "They definitely have something up their sleeve."
Before the words finished—
BOOM!!!
The entire warship shook violently. The metal structure in the center of the deck suddenly bulged upward, then was torn apart like paper!
A massive blue figure burst through the deck and slowly rose. His blazing white eyes shone like two blinding suns in the smoke and dust.
"Oh, fuck."
Deadpool shouted dramatically. "The Kree are on drugs?"
The Kree commander! No — now he should be called the Kree monster.
He stood in the center of the wreckage. His muscular, veined body glowed with unstable blue energy. Even his breathing carried the hum of high-voltage current.
"Earth bugs."
His voice was low and carried a distorted echo.
"You will die very painfully."
Tony's tactical interface flashed with frantic warnings.
"Jarvis?"
"Energy readings exceed threshold, sir."
Jarvis reported calmly. "Presumed to be the Kree Empire's experimental enhancement serum. Muscle density greatly increased, neural reaction speed…"
"Get to the point." Tony cut him off.
"Sir, the conclusion is: don't let it touch you."
"Great."
Deadpool slapped his thigh. "I like this suggestion! I was just thinking about what it feels like to get punched by a super Kree!"
With that, he charged forward in one stride. His dual katanas crossed as he slashed toward the Kree monster's neck!
"Wade!" Steve roared, but it was too late to stop him.
The Kree monster didn't even dodge. It let the blades strike its skin.
Clang!
A crisp metallic collision rang out. Deadpool's blades sparked against it.
"Whoa."
Deadpool blinked. "That hardness! I should have brought the adamantium blade!"
The next second, the massive blue fist came down like a meteor!
Bang!!!
Deadpool was blasted away like a cannonball, smashing through several layers of deck before finally embedding himself in the engine room at the rear of the warship.
The entire scene fell silent.
"Is he okay?" Hawkeye asked hesitantly.
"He'd better not be."
Steve gritted his teeth, shield already locked in place.
The Kree monster slowly retracted its fist. Its blazing white eyes locked onto the remaining Avengers.
"Next."
Tony's repulsors instantly charged to maximum power.
"Avengers!"
Steve shouted in a low voice. "Tactical adjustment — don't take it head-on!"
The Kree monster grinned viciously and stomped heavily. The deck collapsed under the immense force as its figure shot toward the group like a cannonball!
The battle erupted once again!
The Kree monster punched toward Captain America. Steve crossed his arms, preparing to block with his shield!
BOOM!!!
The shockwave exploded outward. The deck caved in. Steve was blasted back dozens of meters by the punch, his feet plowing two deep grooves into the metal floor!
"Captain!"
Natasha and Hawkeye moved at the same time. The two quickly flanked from left and right, their long knives slashing toward the Kree monster's joint weak points!
Clang! Clang!
The blades struck the skin, only sparking a few points of fire. Not even a scratch was left!
"This thing has no weak points?!" Hawkeye cursed and quickly retreated.
The Kree monster grinned and backhanded Natasha.
Bang!
Natasha was sent flying, crashing into a pile of metal debris. Dust and smoke rose everywhere.
"Natasha!" Hawkeye's pupils shrank. He was about to rush over when the Kree monster turned toward him, its massive palm slamming down!
Boom!
At the critical moment, a golden-red figure dove in at full speed.
Tony Stark crashed into Hawkeye at full speed, knocking him aside, but he himself was grabbed by the Kree monster!
"Iron Can!" Hawkeye shouted.
The Kree monster held Tony's armor in one hand. Its blazing white eyes showed cruel amusement.
"Steel toy."
The armor creaked under the crushing force. Tony gritted his teeth and growled.
"Jarvis! Overload the reactor!"
Buzz!
The reactor in the armor's chest instantly erupted with blinding white light. The energy blast exploded outward!
The Kree monster was forced back two steps. Tony seized the chance to break free. His armor was damaged in multiple places, the thrusters smoking as he staggered to the ground.
"Tony! You okay?" Steve rushed to his side.
"Still not dead."
Tony panted, looking somewhat speechless. "But this guy is harder than my armor!"
The Kree monster shook its hand. It seemed only slightly scorched and quickly recovered.
It turned toward the group, grinning viciously as it advanced: "You are too weak."
At that moment!
"Hey! Blue Smurf!"
A sleazy voice came from above.
Everyone looked up and saw Deadpool had somehow climbed to a high point on the warship, holding a Kree energy cannon?!
"Guess what I swiped from their armory?"
Deadpool laughed maniacally and pulled the trigger with his right hand.
BOOM!!!
A blinding energy beam slammed straight into the Kree monster's chest. The explosive shockwave flipped half the deck!
When the smoke cleared, the Kree monster was kneeling on one knee, its chest blackened, but it slowly stood back up.
"It didn't die?!" Deadpool's eyes widened.
The Kree monster roared and leaped up, punching toward Deadpool's position.
Boom!
The entire gun turret was smashed to pieces by one punch. Deadpool was blasted away like a rag doll by the shockwave and landed in front of the group.
"Cough cough! Okay, I admit it — this thing is harder to deal with than Thanos."
Deadpool spat blood and struggled to his feet.
Steve took a deep breath and gripped his shield tightly: "No way out. We have to find a way to finish it."
Tony's armor issued a warning: "Energy remaining 17%, sir."
"Then use the last of it."
Tony gritted his teeth. "Jarvis, prepare Plan B."
"Plan B?" Hawkeye frowned, looking confused.
"When did we have a Plan B?"
"Now."
Tony replied calmly. The shoulder armor of his suit opened, revealing two miniature missiles.
"High-explosive armor-piercing rounds, specialized for breaking hard shells."
The Kree monster was charging again. The ground trembled!
"Cover Tony!"
Steve shouted and charged first, slamming his shield hard into the Kree monster's knee!
Clang!
This strike finally made the monster stagger. Natasha and Hawkeye immediately flanked and harassed from both sides.
Deadpool jumped directly onto the monster's back and stabbed its eyes furiously with his dual katanas!
"Get off!"
The Kree monster roared in fury, grabbed Deadpool, and slammed him hard onto the deck, swinging left and right.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
After several heavy slams, Deadpool's bones were probably half broken, but he still clung tightly to the monster's wrist, laughing sleazily.
"Hey, big guy, have you heard of a human bomb?"
The next second, Tony's missiles howled toward them!
"Surprise!"

Blinding firelight swallowed the Kree monster and Deadpool. The explosive shockwave even knocked over the nearby Avengers!
Smoke filled the air. The deck was blown open with a huge crater. The Kree monster's mangled body lay at the edge, half its torso charred and broken, but it was still moving!
"It still didn't die?!" Tony was shocked.
The Kree monster struggled to its feet. Its blazing white eyes locked onto the group as it roared.
"You all must die!"
Just as it was about to pounce—
Buzz!
A burst of golden sparks suddenly bloomed in the center of the battlefield. A spinning portal appeared out of thin air!
A low, familiar voice rang out.
"I heard you needed help?"
Everyone turned around. From the portal, a tall figure slowly stepped out.
