Over the past few days, his clones had farmed an absurd amount of ESS in order to reach 100% as quickly as possible and become strong enough to help him. They'd already been close before this fight even started, so it was only natural that they'd reached 100% as well.
As for Evan himself, he felt the bottleneck holding him back finally give way, and an unimaginable amount of energy surged through his body.
The sensation was familiar, similar to every other breakthrough before it, but he could tell right away this one was different. Bigger.

He'd known the ESS he'd stockpiled would give him a massive push toward C-rank, and now that he'd finally crossed the threshold, he could feel every bit of it.
