Chapter 37 - Chapter 36

Zoro's face turned ashen, but he knew Buggy was right.

Kaido said he felt Oden's presence within Enma.

Charlotte Linlin was visibly shaken because of Enma.

As a swordsman, to have less presence than a blade was simply a disgrace.

He somewhat regretted returning Shusui to Wano Country. Shusui was clearly given to him by Ryuma himself, yet Wano had reclaimed it as a national treasure in exchange for this Enma.

Zoro drew Enma. The blade seemed to sense something, continuously exerting suction, trying to absorb Zoro's Armament Haki to become a Black Blade.

"This blade seems quite proactive, Zoro..." Hawkeye said indifferently. "The sword is decent, but it's only at the level of the 21 Great Grade Swords. I don't feel any presence of a strong individual from it..."

"This is the Cursed Blade, said to be able to conquer hell. Compared to it, I feel even the Supreme Grade black blade yoru is somewhat ordinary," Buggy said mockingly.

"Is the hype that exaggerated? Even the 12 Supreme Grade Swords are just handy weapons for the strong; they don't hold much significance," Hawkeye shook his head.

"That gu,y Tenguyama Hitet,su even said only one person could tame it, Kozuki Oden. Turns out he was just flattering his own son..." Zoro found Enma was more obedient than ever before.

"Quite sharp. Did you sense my killing intent? Too late, though..."

Zoro tossed Enma into the air. Armament Haki enveloped Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu, turning them into Black Blades.

"Two-Sword Style: Black Blade Iai: Rashomon."

Two lightning-fast black flashes streaked past. Enma let out a wail, snapping into three pieces and falling to the ground.

Zoro sheathed his swords, feeling an inexplicable sense of relief in his heart.

He had rediscovered his heart as a swordsman. Swords were merely tools; a swordsman's strength lay within themselves, not in the blade's abilities.

He would find a sharp new blade later. Until then, he'd stick with the Two-Sword Style.

"Zoro, you..." Yamato hadn't expected Zoro to be so extreme as to snap Enma. "This was Oden's beloved blade!"

"Then it's better off accompanying Kozuki Oden," Zoro said coldly. "I, Roronoa Zoro, am the man who will become the world's greatest swordsman. I don't need a weapon bearing Kozuki Oden's mark."

It was Zoro who defeated opponents, not Oden's blade, Enma.

"Why are you all like this? What's wrong with Kozuki Oden? None of you is willing to like him," Yamato said, looking despondent.

"Yamato, why must you insist on others liking Kozuki Oden? Everyone in the crew has their own dreams to fulfill. Yamato, think clearly about your own dream instead of living as Kozuki Oden's shadow," Luffy said. "A person's dream shouldn't be such a cheap thing."

"Once you've traveled the seas for a while, you'll find there are plenty of people stronger than Kozuki Oden. It's not just strength, but conviction, will, and personal charisma," Buggy added.

"Compared to them, Kozuki Oden is just a waste of talent with no conviction. By the way, does anyone in the Straw Hat Pirates write a diary? Use it to brainwash her..."

If Yamato had sailed with Luffy from the start, she wouldn't have become such a die-hard fan of Oden.

"Uh... do you guys write diaries?" Luffy asked.

"No. What decent person would write a diary for no reason?" Nami said dismissively.

Usopp's hand, reaching into his bag, suddenly froze. Better not take out [Usopp's Great Travel Journal].

"Forget it then. Since we've found Robin, let's continue toward the final island, Laugh Ta..," Luffy didn't care much.

"Then I'll take my leave, Captain Buggy," Robin whispered in Buggy's ear. "Be careful of Wano Country; the ancient weapon Pluton is there."

"Safe travels. You'd better hurry, or by the time you return, the World Government might have already been overthrown by me," Buggy said.

The Straw Hat Pirates all returned to the Thousand Sunny, except for Yamato, who didn't move.

"Aren't you coming with us, Yamato?" Luffy looked back and asked.

Yamato felt so wronged that she wanted to cry. She still couldn't understand why no one would acknowledge Kozuki Oden.

"Your father, Kaid,o is indeed a bastard, but he's the one who taught you all your skills. You don't really believe he would kill you, do you? Some things, you only regret after you've lost them," Buggy said.

"Go with the Straw Hat Pirates. You no longer have a 'home'; you only have those comrades left."

Yamato suddenly woke up to the realization that Onigashima, which she had once loathed, was actually so important to her.

Even if it held many unpleasant memories, it was still her home... Now her home was gone, and her father was gone... Yamato looked at the subordinates of the Beasts Pirates; those who once respectfully called her Young Master Yamato now only had indifference on their faces.

A sense of loneliness welled up, and Yamato couldn't help but burst into tears.

"Hey, are you done crying? Once you're done, we're off on a new journey," Luffy shouted from the Thousand Sunny.

"Will you guys look down on me?" Yamato asked, sobbing.

"Of course not. We're comrades," Luffy stretched his arm out to Yamato's feet.

"I will find out for myself what kind of person Oden really was, in my own name," Yamato wiped her tears and spoke solemnly to Buggy, no longer calling herself Oden.

What does that have to do with me? Buggy felt a bit bewildered; he simply looked down on Kozuki Oden.

But Luffy had already pulled Yamato back onto the Thousand Sunny. "Goodbye, everyone."

The Thousand Sunny sailed off in the direction recorded by the poneglyph.

"Sister, aren't you going to see Luffy off?" the younger sister beside Hancock asked.

"No need. Luffy has his own dreams, and I have my own pursuits," Hancock said.

She now only wanted to take revenge on the Celestial Dragons.

"It's time for us to set out as well and take over Wano Country," Buggy also ordered the bikudopu to set sail.

"Captain Buggy, Wano Country's terrain is a bit troublesome; it won't be easy for our Pirate Crew to enter," King, who had been silent, suddenly spoke.

Back then, he had nearly wiped out the Big Mom Pirates by himself, relying on the terrain.

"There's no need to bring the whole crew. We just need to take a few experts. Don't you know the people of Wano? Usually, they're arrogant to a fault, but once they realize an enemy is invincible, they immediately switch to a posture of submission."

"We just need to defeat their spiritual pillars, the Nine Red Scabbards, and Wano will surrender immediately. After all, they're quite experienced when it comes to surrendering..."

Buggy even suspected that as soon as the Nine Red Scabbards were defeated, the first to surrender would be the Shogun of Wano, Kozuki Momonosuke.

King hadn't expected Buggy to know Wano so well. "Captain Buggy, could you assign some opponents to us? The Beasts Pirates were defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates, not the so-called Nine Red Scabbards."

"Sure, you can pick your opponents first when the time comes. But has your body recovered?" Buggy saw King's resentment.

"I'm fine now. Our Lunarian tribe has strong regenerative abilities," King said.

"Then let the fellows in Wano feel fear. This time, without the Straw Hat Pirates to help them, I want to see how long they can last..."
