The storm has reduced but the girls along with the guys and I are still at Cayden's house. After his mom rested, she called me to the garden and showed me pictures of my mother and her since their childhood.
your mother and I have been best friends since long ago, we were trouble together and the school had to put us in separate classes. The whole school knew us, she smiled sadly.
can you please tell me how she and my father met? I asked.

we talked about my mom, and their younger days and told me how she also met Cayden's father which was through my mom.
she told me that my maternal grandparents also wanted to take me back to Nigeria but my father won't allow it.

yeah, she wanted to call you Kimberly but I felt Calanthe suited you more and at first she disagreed but when you were born she said yes Calanthe suits you best and I shortened it to Kay Kay.
i smiled as Mrs black was talking and at the same time smiling.
she showed me lots of pictures of her and my parents and me black and Leo's parents and Reila and west's parents apparently they were all friends.
if I may ask, I began, what happened to wests mother and Reilas father.
its not my story to tell but they both died, reilas dad was in an accident while west mom was in a hit and run, she replied.
