Chapter 83 - Awakening the Rinnegan! Almighty Push!

Every strike Shuoye Uchiha threw carried enough force to shatter a small hill. The Kage-level fighters who met him head-on were blasted away on first contact—bodies arcing through the air before slamming into the ground.

Hidden in the shadows, Obito watched coldly, a faintly contemptuous smile tugging at his lips.

As long as his plan succeeded, none of this would matter.

What he didn't realize was that Shuoye's power had already far exceeded anything he had anticipated.

Shuoye's figure weaved across the battlefield. Each blow was precise, lethal, leaving even Kage-level opponents scrambling to keep up.

Then—just as everyone expected him to keep pressing—

He stopped.

"This power…"

Eyes closed, he reached up and touched his left eye, as if feeling something waking deep inside.

The Kage exchanged glances. Delight flickered in their hearts.

He's running out of steam.

He's hesitating.

"A perfect opening!"

They surged in from all directions.

"Kill!"

In that instant, everyone believed Shuoye was finished.

But the moment their hands were about to reach him—

Shuoye's left eye snapped open.

A dark beam of light shot upward, piercing the sky.

The light of the Rinnegan.

A power that grasped life and death, that saw through all things.

"The power that governs all phenomena… awaken."

His voice was calm.

Yet it carried an authority that crushed the air itself.

The battlefield shuddered as an invisible force spread outward.

"Almighty Push."

He raised one hand.

Repulsion erupted from his palm—an overwhelming shockwave that tore through the world.

The entire battlefield seemed to split.

The Kage's expressions twisted.

A force from every direction slammed into them, flinging them away as if they were weightless.

Bodies tumbled through the air amid screams.

At the center, the air around Shuoye warped under unbearable pressure.

His eyes shone with an eerie glow—gentle in appearance, merciless in nature—seeing everything.

"What… are those eyes?"

Ōnoki's chest tightened.

He didn't fully understand that power, but the oppression rolling off Shuoye made his instincts scream.

"Don't freeze up! Move!"

He barked, forcing momentum back into their line.

"Full Tailed Beast Transformation!"

Rōshi and Han released their restraints.

Tailed Beast chakra surged like a flood, forming massive beastly silhouettes that charged Shuoye with earth-shaking roars.

"Planetary Devastation."

Shuoye answered with a cold smile.

His hands formed seals.

A terrifying gravitational pull spread across the battlefield, dragging everything toward a forming core—condensing into a colossal black sphere.

"It's over."

His voice stayed flat, emotionless.

The Kage-level fighters who tried to resist found themselves bound, pinned, unable to move.

Shuoye turned his head slightly toward Konoha, eyes narrowing.

"Now I should go deal with some rats."

Elsewhere, Obito was already slipping into the depths of Konoha.

His target: Kushina Uzumaki.

"The Nine-Tails jinchūriki… I'll be taking her."

His breath steadied. His gaze turned vicious.

Just as he was about to move—

A voice spoke from behind him, cold enough to stop his heart.

"Obito. Your plan ends here."

Shuoye's presence locked down the space itself. A crushing force pinned Obito in place, halting him mid-step.

"A trap…"

Bitterness rose in Obito's throat.

So he'd been completely played.

Yet instead of panicking, he forced himself calm—too calm.

"Shuoye. One last time… work with me."

"You think destroying other villages will make the world better? Laughable. Once you're dead, everything will return to how it was."

He tried to bait him, to lure him.

"Shuoye, you still don't understand me. I don't want to be your enemy. There's no need. You should know—I already hold power greater than Konoha's. Enough to reshape the entire shinobi world. Think carefully. Stand with me."

Shuoye only stared back, unmoved.

He understood—Obito's words were bluster.

"Obito, you're not wrong about one thing."

"But your plan is even dumber."

His gaze was flat, filled with disdain.

"You understand nothing!"

Obito's face contorted.

"My plan is the only way to create a world where everyone can be happy!"

He knew talking was useless now.

"Shuoye. We'll meet again. Next time, I hope you choose wisely."

He turned to leave.

But Shuoye would never let him walk away cleanly.

A Rinnegan ability activated—[Causality Lock].

It latched onto Obito's presence, fixing his trail and position. No matter where he ran, he wouldn't escape Shuoye's pursuit.

Obito frowned, sensing something wrong. His expression hardened.

"Hm?"

Shuoye's brow furrowed.

He spun and threw a punch behind him—

A black-robed figure was smashed apart in a burst.

"Almighty Push!"

A terrifying wave of repulsion slammed forward.

Shuoye didn't hesitate—he answered with his own Almighty Push.

Two repulsive forces collided, blasting up a storm of dust.

"…Nagato?"

Shuoye narrowed his eyes.

At this point, among those with the Rinnegan—

Only Nagato fit.

Because of Shuoye's actions, this world's Jiraiya had never taken Nagato and Konan as students.

They had no bond with Konoha at all.

High above, Deva Path Pain descended slowly.

He had tried to ambush Shuoye with the Preta Path to absorb Shuoye's chakra—

Only to realize Shuoye had already sensed him and punched him apart.

Pain felt a flicker of relief.

If he'd been any slower, he might have ended up like the Preta Path.

"But this isn't the time for us to fight."

"The Nine-Tails… next time, I will take it."

Shuoye stared up at him, lips curling with contempt.

"You can try."

"But don't waste your effort. The Nine-Tails isn't something you can 'take' whenever you want."

"Next time, you'll die."

He said it calmly.

No one understood Pain's threat better than Shuoye did.

If they fought to the end here, Konoha might not survive the fallout.

He wasn't Naruto.

He wasn't going to gamble everything on words—and he certainly wasn't going to let Nagato "repent" and resurrect anyone.

He wanted fate in his own hands.

"We'll see who dies."

Obito snorted.

He retreated with Pain, their figures fading away.

They needed time—time to gather greater power to face Shuoye.

Shuoye closed his eyes and used the Rinnegan's sensing to confirm their positions.

The distance was growing, and the information became hazier—

But his mouth still curved upward.

Run a little longer.

Your time is almost up.

Boom!

Several Planetary Devastation spheres detonated in the sky.

With thunderous impacts and raining debris, Ōnoki and the others burst free—faces twisted with fear and fury.

But the moment their eyes landed on Shuoye—

Those emotions collapsed into awe.

Shuoye smiled, as if he were watching a performance.

"Not bad. You're decent."

"But I'm getting bored."

"So… let's try this."

"Meteorite Descent."

He clasped his hands.

Dark clouds churned.

A massive meteor formed overhead, falling with world-ending weight.

The Kage-level fighters—freshly crawling out of Planetary Devastation—didn't even have time to curse his arrogance before they saw it.

If that meteor hit, they would all die.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"

"Tailed Beast Bomb!"

Ōnoki surged forward, forcing Dust Release upward to stop it.

Rōshi and Han fired together, trying to break the meteor apart.

"Then…"

Shuoye's smile widened.

"…have another."

He clasped his hands again.

A second meteor—larger, heavier—formed and crashed down with even more terrifying pressure.

Ōnoki's blood ran cold.

"What the hell are we supposed to do with this?!"

"Fall."

Shuoye stepped in.

"Quake Fist."

A formless vibration slammed outward.

Ōnoki and the others felt their bodies pinned under crushing pressure—unable to move—

Then everything went black.

"It's time to go home."

Shuoye gave the order.

The defeated Kage-level fighters felt their bodies lighten, as if an invisible force was dragging them toward Konoha.

Several tailed beasts were taken as well.

At the same time, the allied shinobi army collapsed.

Under Shuoye's absolute dominance, their will shattered completely.

"Send them all to Orochimaru."

"Turn them into chakra batteries."

Shuoye tossed the order out casually, then moved straight toward Kushina Uzumaki.

In a hidden corner, Obito stood beside Nagato. Moonlight stretched their shadows long and lonely.

They stared through the night, as if they could see Konoha's defenses—and the Shuoye who had become something else entirely.

"Shuoye has grown to a level we can't ignore."

Nagato's voice was low, heavy.

Even with the Rinnegan, he couldn't clearly measure Shuoye's true depth.

Konan listened, shaken.

She had never imagined even Nagato—hailed as a "god"—would find Shuoye this troublesome.

Obito's expression was grim.

"Then we activate the backup plan."

Nagato and Konan exchanged a look, wary and curious.

Obito was cautious by nature. A "backup plan" meant something prepared—and dangerous.

"This trip to Konoha wasn't for nothing."

Obito reached into his cloak and drew out an ancient, worn book.

Seals covered its surface, faintly glowing.

The legendary Scroll of Seals, containing countless forbidden techniques.

Then Obito's tone shifted, almost mocking.

"Nagato. Stop pretending."

"Your Rinnegan can see who I am, can't it?"

"I'm not Uchiha Madara."

"My name is Obito Uchiha."

Nagato's heart jolted, but his face stayed calm.

He had noticed the inconsistency long ago.

He simply hadn't exposed it.

Konan, however, stared—stunned.

Obito ignored their reactions.

"But none of that matters now."

"Because I'm going to resurrect the real Uchiha Madara."

His hands formed seals.

A chill spread through the air.

His figure blurred—

And then he stood atop a massive formation.

At its center, a skeletal emblem pulsed faintly.

The marker of Impure World Reincarnation.
