The two walked toward the city gates.
The guard from before noticed them and raised an eyebrow.
"Out so soon?"
Lunaris nodded.
"We just took up a quest at the Adventurer's Guild to earn some money. Since our carriage and all our belongings were lost and all..."
The guard's expression softened with understanding.
"I see. Stay safe out there. Don't stray too far - there could be monsters."
"We'll be careful. Thank you."

They arrived at a location a decent distance from the town. Not too far, but far enough to be surrounded by wilderness.
Lunaris walked through the grass, then bent down to pick a plant.
With Appraisal, he could easily identify the actual herbs needed for the quest.
He turned to Mira and held up the herb.
"Pick these ones."
She nodded.
He wondered if she actually understood.
Then she started moving.
Her hands blurred through the grass, plucking herbs at a rapid pace.
Lunaris was surprised.
He decided not to fall behind and increased his own pace.
