Ragnar's POV
"What the hell is going on?!" Daniel screamed, pure panic lacing his tone as he stumbled back.
"I have no idea either!" I shouted back, shock gripping my entire body as I stared at Lucian's agonizing transformation.
"You guys get down, now!" Boca growled, his jaw locking as he shifted into his full Alpha mode.
Daniel grabbed my arm and dragged me down to the dusty floor, forcing my gaze away from Boca.
"Cover your ears!" Boca growled.
I ignored him and didn't cover my ears. High-pitched, unnatural screams of pain tore through the air, vibrating right through my teeth. I couldn't just lie there and take it. I forced myself up and watched Boca throwing himself forward, desperately trying to pull Lucian out of the swirling vortex of dark energy.
