"Alright, but not right now." Goku nodded in agreement, then glanced at the motionless, shattered pieces of Cell on the ground.
Goku, of course, knew that Cell, in his current state, could fully recover through regeneration.
If Vegeta really is a reincarnator like me, then he's deliberately holding back.
Goku hesitated repeatedly, but ultimately decided not to eliminate Cell in front of Vegeta.
"Not right now? Heh heh heh, Kakarot, you really should train harder!" Vegeta patted Goku on the shoulder, his flames dissipating as he reverted to his base form.
"You're right. When we have time, we should definitely have a good fight," Goku grinned.
Vegeta held his head high, his expression growing even more triumphant.
"But Vegeta, you still haven't told me what kind of transformation that was. I've never seen anything like it," Goku pressed, his face full of curiosity.
"Super Saiyan God." The corners of Vegeta's mouth curled up, his smile becoming even more unrestrained.
"Super... Saiyan God?" Goku was stunned.
"Super Saiyan God?" Piccolo was also shocked.
Gohan was even more astonished.
The name alone sounded incredibly cool.
It seemed even more mysterious than his father's Super Saiyan 4.
Hmm? Wait, no!
Shouldn't my Ultimate Form be the most mysterious?
"Super Saiyan God..." Trunks' eyes widened, his heart filled with shock.
Father can transform into this too?
How did I not know?
Father has become incredibly powerful!
It seems Father has truly surpassed Mr. Goku.
The Father of this world is truly amazing.
"Trunks, let's go. Your mother is waiting for us to eat," Vegeta called out to Trunks.
"Yes, Father!" Trunks' eyes sparkled with admiration, gazing at his father with reverence.
One could say that at this moment, Trunks' admiration for Vegeta was like an endless river.
Who wouldn't want their father to become stronger?
Didn't Mr. Goku look completely stunned?
I still have so many questions for Father.
I still want to know how Father became a Super Saiyan God.
"Kakarot, I'll give you time. I'll be waiting for your challenge!" Vegeta declared before soaring into the sky.
"Vegeta, you still haven't explained what this monster is all about!" Piccolo's face darkened, and he hurriedly called out to Vegeta.
"Trunks, you tell them." Vegeta couldn't be bothered to explain, directly instructing Trunks.
"Yes, Father!" Trunks nodded and briefly explained the situation with Cell.
However, Trunks only mentioned that Cell was an Android who came from his future to this world, without going into details about Goku Black or Zamasu.
Mainly, that story was too complicated to explain, and Trunks himself hadn't fully understood it.
Additionally, Trunks also mentioned that Cell was here to absorb Androids 17 and 18 to achieve his Perfect Form.
Goku and Gohan already knew about Cell, so they weren't particularly surprised.
Piccolo, however, looked a bit moved.
Just an incomplete Cell is already this strong.
If this guy were to achieve his Perfect Form, who knows how ridiculously powerful he would become.
It's a good thing Vegeta acted decisively and nipped Cell in the bud.
"Trunks, that's enough talking. We can go now." Vegeta urged from above.
"Yes, Father!" Trunks nodded.
"Go on, Trunks." Goku smiled slightly.
"Mr. Goku, Master Gohan, Mr. Piccolo, I'm truly sorry... that's the situation... I'll be going now!" Trunks bowed hastily and quickly flew off to catch up.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Vegeta and Trunks departed.
"Father, when did you learn this Super Saiyan God transformation?" Trunks asked excitedly.
"I've known it for a while," Vegeta said, the corners of his mouth curving into an even wider, more radiant smile.
"You've known it for a while?" Trunks was surprised, then asked, "Does that mean... Father already knew this transformation three years ago?"
"That's right," Vegeta nodded.
"Father hides things so well..." Trunks sighed with emotion, a slight complaint in his voice.
"Hmph, I originally wanted to teach you this transformation, but it was a bit too early for you back then," Vegeta said, glancing at Trunks. "Now... if you train diligently with me, you might also be able to become a Super Saiyan God."
"Eh? I can also become a Super Saiyan God?" Trunks was incredibly excited, his body trembling with anticipation.
"This transformation isn't easy to learn. You'll need to work very hard," Vegeta mused.
At this moment, Vegeta had already decided to teach Trunks the Super Saiyan God transformation.
If Trunks could master the Super Saiyan God transformation, there shouldn't be any major problems in his world anymore.
Even if Zamasu and Goku Black appeared, he would have the power to fight them.
"After dinner, I'll take you to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to train for another year," Vegeta arranged.
"Train for another year?" Trunks grew even more excited and thrilled.
The last time Trunks trained with his father for a year, he benefited immensely.
This time, perhaps he could truly become a Super Saiyan God, just like his father.
Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo remained at the scene, not leaving immediately.
Cell, meanwhile, completely concealed his Ki, as if he were truly dead.
Cell: "..."
Cell naturally sensed the Ki of Goku and the other two, and he was debating whether to eliminate them.
Vegeta has already left.
I can recover my body through regeneration and take out Goku and the others while I'm at it. There shouldn't be any problem, right?
However, Cell thought about it carefully and decided not to take the risk.
Even Vegeta is this strong, so Goku might have undergone significant changes too.
And Cell had sensed Goku's Ki slightly, feeling that his energy fluctuations were a bit off.
What if he's even stronger than Vegeta? If I mess up, I could really get killed.
I should probably keep a low profile!
How strange. Why is Vegeta so strong?
Cell felt a bitter taste in his mouth.
Originally, Cell thought he could make a grand entrance and sweep aside Goku and the others in this world.
But he had just encountered Vegeta and was already beaten into such a pathetic state.
"Old man, I finally understand why Vegeta has no Ki presence," Piccolo mused.
"Is it because Vegeta already possesses divine Ki?" Goku asked with a smile.
"You already knew?" Piccolo was surprised.
"Didn't Vegeta say it? His transformation is called Super Saiyan God, which is related to gods, so we humans can't sense divine Ki." Goku smiled and nodded, offering a logical analysis.
"Father..." Gohan was a bit confused and asked, "Isn't Lord Supreme Kai the greatest god in the universe? Can't Father sense his Ki?"
"Lord Supreme Kai has energy fluctuations, so we can sense their Ki." Goku pondered, resting his chin on his hand. "But Vegeta's Ki is very strange; I can't sense his presence at all."
"It's highly possible that Vegeta's divine Ki is more refined," Piccolo speculated.
"Let's go back for now," Goku said to Piccolo and Gohan, then glanced at the motionless, shattered pieces of Cell on the ground.
Goku did not move to eliminate Cell.
In his previous life, Goku had trained hard and fought Cell in the Cell Games.
In that battle, Goku ultimately lost.
Although Goku had placed all his hopes on his son, Gohan, losing the match was still a harsh reality.
Moreover, Goku's strength back then was indeed slightly inferior to Cell's.
In this life, Goku planned to have a proper fight with Cell.
Perhaps this time, through fighting Cell, his own strength could advance even further.
And Goku also wanted to see just how strong Vegeta's Super Saiyan God truly was.
As for Vegeta's challenge to Goku, Goku was not in a hurry to accept it.
It wasn't that Goku lacked confidence, but rather that he wanted to understand Super Saiyan God more before sparring.
WHOOSH!
Goku used Instant Transmission, taking Piccolo and Gohan, and instantly returned to their home on Mount Paozu.
"Goku, what were you doing just now?" Chi-Chi asked curiously.
"Ah, nothing..." Goku forced a smile, not wanting Chi-Chi to worry about these things. He then sat back down with Piccolo and Gohan to eat.
Chi-Chi pouted but didn't press further.
"So, that guy Cell is dead now?" Piccolo picked up a glass of water, took a sip, and looked at Goku, asking.
Goku scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Gohan was slightly surprised and quickly asked, "Uncle Piccolo, wasn't Cell blown to pieces by Uncle Vegeta?"
Although Gohan had heard Goku talk about Cell, he didn't know that Cell could regenerate.
And Goku's explanations had been rather vague.
"Sure enough, nothing gets past Piccolo," Goku sighed with emotion, giving an embarrassed laugh.
"Since he has my cells, he should know how to regenerate, right?" Piccolo snorted.
"Gohan, Piccolo, tell everyone about this," Goku suggested. "I'm going to visit Lord Supreme Kai."
"Go ahead," Piccolo didn't object.
"Chi-Chi, I'm leaving now." Goku called out to Chi-Chi, then immediately used Instant Transmission and vanished.
"Goku, what are you going to do at Lord Supreme Kai's place?" Chi-Chi quickly asked.
But Goku had already disappeared.
"What exactly happened?" Chi-Chi asked Gohan and Piccolo again.
"Mom, it's nothing major, don't worry," Gohan also didn't want his mother to worry.
"Fine, I'm not going to bother with your affairs anymore." Chi-Chi knew she wouldn't get any answers, so she stopped pressing.
"Uncle Piccolo... it seems this opponent isn't simple. I feel that with my current strength... I could at most fight Cell to a draw." Gohan took a deep breath, his expression growing more serious.
Piccolo: "..."
"You're right." After a brief silence, Piccolo nodded and then abruptly stood up.
"Eh? Uncle Piccolo, what are you doing?" Gohan was surprised.
"I'm going out," Piccolo said, looking up at the sky outside the window.
"Uncle Piccolo isn't going to the Lookout to fuse with Kami, is he?" Gohan asked excitedly.
Piccolo: "..."
Piccolo's mouth twitched, and he looked at Gohan with a wry smile.
As expected of a reincarnator.
You guessed that too?
"You're right!" Piccolo's voice was low. "It's time to merge with that old man."
"I'll go with Uncle Piccolo," Gohan suggested.
Piccolo nodded slightly, not objecting.
Without further ado, the two left the house and flew directly toward the Lookout.
Chi-Chi stared blankly at the departing Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo, letting out a helpless sigh.
WHOOSH!
Piccolo and Gohan sped up.
Above the Lookout.
Kami: "..."
It's finally here, what was bound to happen!
Mr. Popo lowered his head, his expression filled with reluctance.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
Piccolo and Gohan appeared above the Lookout and landed steadily.
Then, Piccolo and Kami looked at each other.
Kami's forehead was covered in sweat; he seemed to already know his fate.
Gohan felt a bit awkward standing by, but it wasn't his place to speak much in this situation.
"You should know why I'm here, right?" Piccolo asked.
"I know," Kami nodded. "Before, you and I... no, to be precise, you and your father, were once one, and you know that well! Honestly, I never thought we would fuse again."
"Your current existence is only for the Dragon Balls," Piccolo said flatly.
"You're right. The gap between us is too great. In the face of powerful enemies, I am powerless," Kami sighed. "Many things have happened over the years: the powerful Son Goku, the mysterious Vegeta, and Trunks from the future... and..."
At this point, Kami looked deeply at Gohan again, his expression complex.
Gohan gave an awkward smile, saying nothing.
"I also saw what happened with Cell. His power is indeed unsettling," Kami said in a low voice. "And, whether Vegeta intended it or not, he deliberately spared his life! Now, Cell has regenerated and hidden himself somewhere, and even I cannot locate him."
Piccolo had already guessed all this, so he had nothing to say.
"Perhaps the time has finally come for Kami and King Piccolo to become one," Kami said with a forced smile.
"Exactly! What this Earth needs now isn't Kami, but me—someone who can defeat Cell and possesses power beyond all limits!" Piccolo clenched his fists.
"But do you really think that if we fuse, we'll have power exceeding Vegeta's?" Kami suddenly smiled, looking at Piccolo.
"You... what do you mean?" Piccolo was surprised.
"I think, given our current power levels, even if I fuse with you, our strength would at most be comparable to Android 17. It would be very, very difficult to surpass Cell and Vegeta!" Kami sighed deeply, speaking frankly.
Piccolo: "..."
A brief silence.
"Even if that's true, only by fusing with you can we become a complete being. From then on, my strength will also greatly increase through training," Piccolo stated his view.
"It's true that your strength will increase through training after we fuse, but are you sure you can surpass Cell or Vegeta?" Kami smiled.
Piccolo was left speechless.
"Piccolo, you are a very proud person; I know that well," Kami said with a strange smile.
"You... what exactly are you trying to say?" Piccolo frowned.
"Alright, I agree to fuse with you," Kami said with a hearty laugh.
Piccolo: "????"
Piccolo was a bit bewildered.
What do you mean?
I can't even keep up with what you're saying.
Gohan also scratched his head in confusion, completely unable to understand.
"However, there's one very important thing to do before that," Kami said with a smile.
"What thing?" Piccolo bared his teeth.
Why are you so long-winded?
Can't you just fuse with me already?
"I can sense that there's powerful energy hidden within your body," Kami said with a smile, looking at Piccolo. "So, I need to draw out all the hidden energy within you."
"Draw out the powerful energy within me?" Piccolo was slightly stunned, then snorted, "Grand Elder Guru of Namek has already helped me draw out my hidden potential. You're probably just wasting your time."
"Of course, I can't draw out your latent potential again," Kami smiled.
Piccolo: "????"
You can't, and yet you're saying it so seriously?
"Are you saying you want me to go to Namek again?" Piccolo asked.
"No need. There's a more suitable being to draw out your latent potential," Kami said with a mysterious smile, then turned to Mr. Popo and called out, "Mr. Popo, prepare!"
"Yes... Lord Kami." Mr. Popo nodded vigorously, then returned to the room.
Soon, Mr. Popo emerged from the room, holding a tray.
On the tray were seven shimmering Dragon Balls.
"Dragon Balls?" Piccolo was surprised.
"I know! Lord Kami wants to use Shenron to draw out Uncle Piccolo's latent potential, right?" Gohan's eyes lit up, and he suddenly understood.
"Precisely," Kami smiled and nodded.
"Shenron?" Piccolo's expression was blank.
"Shenron, come forth and grant our wish!" Mr. Popo shouted toward the seven Dragon Balls.
WHOOSH!
The seven Dragon Balls immediately glowed with a golden aura.
Then, a golden pillar of light shot up into the sky.
The golden pillar of light converged high above, transforming into a majestic green dragon.
The sky instantly darkened.
The green dragon coiled across the night sky, revealing its massive dragon head.
"Shenron, I entrust this to you," Kami wished to Shenron.
"Very well, Lord Kami. Leave it to me. I will greatly draw out the latent potential within both you and Piccolo," Shenron said, invisible divine power shimmering in its red eyes.
The divine power quickly enveloped the bodies of Piccolo and Kami.
Upon feeling the surging, powerful energy within him, Piccolo was both surprised and delighted.
"Lord Kami, your wish has been granted. Farewell..." Shenron's expression dimmed slightly, then it transformed back into seven Dragon Balls.
The Dragon Balls instantly turned to stone and scattered across the world.
The sky returned to its bright state.
Capsule Corporation Headquarters.
Vegeta and Trunks looked up at the sky.
Bulma also watched with them.
"Strange, did someone summon Shenron?" Bulma asked curiously.
"The location where Shenron was summoned is the Lookout," Trunks pointed in the direction of the Lookout. "I sensed Mr. Piccolo and Master Gohan were also there, so everything seems normal."
"Eh? Kami summoned Shenron? What does he want to do?" Bulma blinked her beautiful eyes rapidly, a bit confused.
"It's possible Kami and Piccolo want to fuse," Vegeta said flatly.
"But what wish would they make?" Trunks wondered.
Vegeta didn't respond.
As for what wish Kami made, Vegeta simply didn't care.
Master Roshi's Island.
"Why did the sky suddenly turn dark? Did someone make a wish?" Krillin looked up at the sky.
Master Roshi stood with his hands behind his back, saying nothing.
"What was that powerful Ki that appeared earlier?" Krillin rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. "I have a bad feeling about this! No, I'm going to check out the Lookout."
"Go ahead," Master Roshi didn't object.
WHOOSH!
Krillin wasted no more words, his aura flaring as he flew rapidly toward the Lookout.
The Lookout.
Piccolo clearly felt a tremendous change in his body.
The energy drawn out by Shenron was simply too powerful.
The same was true for Kami, although the energy drawn out wasn't as much.
"Eh? Eh? Eh?" Gohan suddenly widened his eyes, looking at the sky in surprise, unable to say anything.
"Gohan, what's wrong?" Piccolo asked with concern.
"Uncle Piccolo... look at that!" Gohan pointed at the sky, his mouth agape.
Piccolo looked up at the sky suspiciously, feeling a bit bewildered.
"Isn't that just the sky?" Piccolo asked, looking strangely at Gohan.
"There's someone in the sky!" Gohan exclaimed.
Piccolo: "????"
Kami: "????"
Popo: "????"
The three of them were utterly confused, exchanging glances, then looking strangely at Gohan, and then up at the sky again.
Someone in the sky, my foot.
Besides the blue sky, where is anyone?
"That monster is..." Gohan was stunned, opening his mouth, but the rest of his words wouldn't come out.
"Monster?" Piccolo was surprised, looking up at the sky again.
What monster is in the sky?
Besides the blue sky, there's nothing there.
"What are you talking about?" Piccolo pressed.
"Huh? Uncle Piccolo... you guys don't see it?" Gohan scratched his head, looking back at Piccolo and the other two, finding them all bewildered.
Gohan was even more bewildered.
Then, Gohan looked up at the sky once more.
Above the sky, a strange space inexplicably appeared.
Within that space, people were engaged in fierce combat.
Of the two combatants, two figures were tall.
One was a monster with red and green spots on its body.
And the other person looked exactly like Uncle Piccolo.
But what's with Uncle Picolo turning completely orange?
Son Gohan was truly shocked.
In addition, Gohan's pupils contracted as he also saw Androids 17 and 18.
They are fighting that green monster.
That green monster... it looks so much like Cell.
However, his face and body were different colors.
Could it be... Cell in his complete body?
