Bang!
Vegeta gritted his teeth and delivered a fierce kick to the Metalman Magetta, a strike infused with a significant portion of his power.
The force of the kick was immense, instantly sending Magetta flying high into the air, tracing an arc across the sky.
Vegeta charged forward again, catching up to Magetta in mid-air and delivering another kick that sent him hurtling toward the edge of the stage.
Thud!
Magetta fell out of the ring on the spot, crashing heavily to the ground, and was eliminated.
Vegeta secured another victory and landed steadily on the stage, a hint of his signature pride on his face.
"That was amazing, Vegeta!" Goku stepped forward and praised him enthusiastically, his eyes full of admiration.
"Hmph. It was nothing, just a piece of cake," Vegeta replied with a light chuckle.
Vados, meanwhile, used her angelic powers to repair the damaged stage.
With a gentle wave of her staff, the stage was restored to its original state in an instant, as if it had never been damaged.
Champa's face turned black, and he couldn't have been more frustrated.
Our universe has lost another one; now there are only two people left!
But as long as Hit is here, it shouldn't be a big problem, right?
"Listen up! You're both Saiyans; you absolutely cannot lose to him! Otherwise, Universe 6 will completely lose face!" Champa strictly instructed Cabba, who was about to step out, his tone commanding.
"Yes, Lord Champa! I will definitely do my best!" Cabba nodded vigorously, his eyes full of determination.
"Now then, let us continue with the next match," the referee announced into the microphone. "It will be Contestant Vegeta continuing against Contestant Cabba of Universe 6."
Cabba took a deep breath, stepped onto the stage, and bowed to Vegeta. "Please guide me, Mr. Vegeta."
"So it's you," Vegeta smiled, the golden light on his body gradually fading as he returned to his base form. "I won't show any mercy. Are you prepared?"
"Y-yes," Cabba replied, cold sweat sliding down his forehead as he felt a bit intimidated.
You say you won't show mercy, so why did you return from your transformed state?
Are you looking down on me?
"Now then... let the match begin!" the referee announced loudly.
"Mr. Vegeta, aren't you going to transform?" Cabba's mouth twitched, and he couldn't help but ask.
"There's no need for that just yet," Vegeta's lips curled into a meaningful smile.
"Then I won't be polite!" Cabba wasted no more words and charged toward Vegeta with extreme speed.
Just as he was about to reach Vegeta, Cabba flickered and suddenly vanished from the spot.
In the blink of an eye, Cabba appeared behind Vegeta, raising his fist to strike the back of Vegeta's head.
Vegeta saw it coming and couldn't help but snort.
This kid's fighting style is exactly the same as in the previous life—no creativity at all.
Can't you come up with some new tactics?
Vegeta lightly raised his arm, easily catching Cabba's attack with a smooth and effortless motion.
Cabba's body swayed as he attempted a sweep kick to trip Vegeta.
Vegeta remained motionless, as if his feet were rooted to the ground.
Cabba felt as if his leg had struck Magetta's body; the pain was so intense his foot felt like it was about to split open, but he gritted his teeth and didn't make a sound.
Still, Cabba charged forward again without hesitation, slamming both feet into Vegeta's stomach, hoping to cause even a little damage.
Vegeta remained completely unmoved; it seemed such an attack couldn't cause him the slightest harm.
After all, having lived another life, Vegeta's base battle power was already far beyond what it had been in his previous life. Even without transforming, he wasn't someone Cabba could easily shake.
Thus, even without becoming a Super Saiyan, Vegeta's base strength far exceeded Cabba's at this point in time.
Cabba immediately shot up into the sky, flying high above and appearing directly beneath one of the floating Dragon Balls. The Dragon Ball radiated a brilliant golden light, which happened to block Vegeta's line of sight.
The golden light radiating from the Dragon Ball was so bright that the audience members could hardly keep their eyes open, many of them shielding their faces with their hands.
Vegeta, however, held up a large hand to block the light, feeling no discomfort in his eyes at all. He had long since seen through Cabba's little trick.
At the same time, Vegeta's smile grew even wider.
A tactic like this is completely useless against me.
Whoosh!
Taking advantage of the moment Vegeta's vision was blocked by the light, Cabba dove down rapidly from the sky like a falcon, delivering a kick toward Vegeta's chest with all his might.
Vegeta took two steps back and then stopped steadily, a composed smile still on his face.
Due to the recoil, Cabba leaped back and flew high into the air again, preparing for his next attack.
"HAAAAAA!"
In the sky, Cabba gathered energy in both hands and fired a powerful energy wave that hurtled toward Vegeta at extreme speed.
The corners of Vegeta's mouth curled into a slight arc as he easily dodged the energy blast. His speed was even faster than the energy wave, and in an instant, he appeared directly above Cabba.
Cabba was instantly horrified; he hadn't expected Vegeta to be so fast and had no time to react.
Bang!
Vegeta delivered a beautiful overhead kick to Cabba's back, slamming him from the air down onto the stage below.
Boom!
Cabba crashed heavily into the stage floor with a loud explosion, leaving a large crater in the ground as dust filled the air.
However, Cabba soon leaped out of the crater, brushed the dust off his clothes, and stood directly across from Vegeta, his eyes full of stubbornness.
Huff, huff, huff...
Cabba panted heavily, his breathing unable to keep up with the rhythm. His forehead was covered in sweat, and his eyes were filled with unwillingness.
"As expected of the Saiyan warrior race! You've got a persistent spirit," Vegeta praised with a smile, a hint of admiration in his tone. "But you're still far from my level!"
Cabba: "..."
Cabba was speechless.
You don't have to be so direct; it's quite a blow to my self-esteem.
"There's no need to feel unwilling. It's already quite remarkable that you have this level of strength at such a young age," Vegeta said with a smile, his tone softening a bit.
Cabba said nothing, merely clenching his fists tightly.
"So, you don't know how to become a Super Saiyan, do you?" Vegeta asked with a smile.
"The Super Saiyan you mentioned... is that the form where your whole body radiates golden light?" Cabba asked, a hint of curiosity and longing in his eyes.
"Correct. It's called the Super Saiyan transformation, a symbol of our Saiyan strength," Vegeta nodded and then asked, "Want to learn?"
Cabba: "..."
Cabba looked at Vegeta in shock, his eyes wide and his heart filled with surprise.
How did you know I wanted to learn?
Can you read minds?
"I do... could you teach me?" Cabba requested sincerely, a trace of expectation in his voice.
"No," Vegeta shook his head, refusing flatly.
Cabba: "..."
Cabba's mouth twitched, and he was momentarily speechless, feeling as if he had been played.
You asked if I wanted to learn... I said yes, and then you said you wouldn't teach me.
This is really too much!
Flash!
Golden light erupted from Vegeta's body, instantly enveloping the entire stage as he activated his Super Saiyan transformation, golden aura swirling around him.
Bang!
Vegeta moved with extreme speed, reaching Cabba almost instantly and delivering a heavy punch to his chest.
Cabba clutched his chest and doubled over like a shrimp, falling to the ground on the spot and coughing up a large amount of blood, clearly suffering a serious injury.
"You're far too naive! Did you really think I would teach you? We're opponents right now," Vegeta snorted and delivered several more kicks to Cabba, each strike full of power.
Cabba cried out in pain, curling up on the ground and rolling around.
"A Saiyan like you, coming to compete with this level of skill?" Vegeta laughed contemptuously, a hint of mockery in his tone. "You're truly a disgrace to our race."
As he spoke, Vegeta stepped directly onto Cabba's face, grinding his foot down a few times.
Cabba's face was distorted by the pressure, looking incredibly pathetic.
Goku rubbed his chin, watching Vegeta thoughtfully with a complex gaze, but he said nothing. He knew Vegeta must have his reasons for doing this.
"Dad, what's wrong?" Trunks looked at Vegeta's fierce appearance on the stage with worry, fearing his father had turned into a bad person.
"You probably didn't expect such powerful Saiyans to exist, did you? You want me to teach you? Are you even worthy?" Vegeta snorted, gradually increasing the force under his foot, his eyes full of disdain.
Crrrk... crrrk...
The sound of bone friction came from Cabba's head as it was stepped on, as if it might dislocate at any moment. His face turned red with pain, and he hurriedly surrendered. "I... I give up! I surrender! Please, let me go!"
"You say you surrender?" Vegeta snorted and grabbed Cabba by the collar, lifting him high like a small chick, his gaze sharp. "The word 'surrender' doesn't exist in a Saiyan's dictionary! You can't even handle this much pain, yet you dare call yourself a Saiyan?"
As he said this, Vegeta still wasn't satisfied and gave Cabba two sharp slaps, the crisp sound echoing across the stage.
Cabba felt his mental state was about to collapse, his eyes turning slightly red.
This isn't right...
This is a tournament; are people not even allowed to surrender?
How can someone be so bullying!
"Hmph. A waste like you coming here to compete is simply too embarrassing," Vegeta said with a cold laugh. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled Cabba high into the air, the boy crying out as he traced an arc through the sky.
"What is Vegeta trying to do?" Piccolo asked with a furrowed brow, looking at Cabba in the sky.
"It's fine. Vegeta probably has his own plan," Goku laughed, speaking with total certainty.
Having lived another life, Goku knew Vegeta too well.
This guy might look fierce, but there was a deeper meaning to his actions.
"His own plan?" Piccolo glanced at Goku, feeling confused and not understanding what Vegeta was up to.
"Just watch. You'll find out in a moment," Goku smiled, his eyes fixed on Vegeta on the stage.
"A worthless Saiyan like you has no reason to exist!" Vegeta gave the airborne Cabba a light smile, but it carried a hint of coldness. "I'm going to kill you. After I've eliminated you, I'll head over to Planet Sadala and wipe it out too, making the Saiyans of Universe 6 disappear forever!"
Cabba's pupils shrank, his expression changing instantly as his eyes filled with rage and fear.
"Prepare to die!" Vegeta began to gather energy, golden light converging in his hands to form a massive energy sphere.
Whoosh!
A powerful energy wave whistled toward Cabba's position, carrying an aura of total destruction.
"PLANET SADALA!" Cabba roared, an infinite rage erupting from his body like a volcanic explosion. "Planet Sadala has nothing to do with this! You are not allowed to harm it!"
Rumble!
Brilliant golden light erupted from Cabba's body, his aura surging frantically like a rocket. His golden hair flew wildly in the wind, and a powerful shockwave swirled around him.
Looking again, Cabba was covered in shimmering golden light. He had successfully activated the Super Saiyan transformation, his eyes filled with a determined conviction.
Bang!
Cabba swung his hand violently, and with a wave of golden energy, he swatted away the energy blast Vegeta had fired.
The energy blast exploded in mid-air with a loud boom.
"I will never allow such a thing to happen!" Cabba was furious, looking down coldly at Vegeta, his voice trembling slightly.
Vegeta's lips curled upward into a slight arc, and an imperceptible hint of relief flashed in his eyes.
"That guy... he turned into a Super Saiyan," Piccolo said in surprise, his eyes widening slightly. He hadn't expected the situation to develop this way.
"I knew it. Vegeta was teaching Cabba how to transform into a Super Saiyan," Goku said with a smile, his tone carrying a hint of admiration.
"I see. That's truly rare; I didn't expect Vegeta to have such a thoughtful side," Piccolo remarked, his impression of Vegeta changing slightly.
"Does it only take anger to become a Super Saiyan?" Raditz asked with sudden interest, his eyes bright and full of excitement.
"That's not how it works." Gine shook her head, looking at Raditz as she spoke earnestly. "Didn't your father say it already? You need to raise your base battle power first, and you must have a peaceful heart! You don't possess either of those yet, so you'd better focus on training your basics first."
Raditz: "..."
Raditz instantly deflated like a punctured balloon, his head hanging low and his face full of disappointment. The spark of hope that had just been ignited was instantly extinguished.
"Good intuition. I didn't expect you to master it so quickly." Vegeta offered a word of praise to Cabba, his tone carrying a hint of recognition. He then smiled and added, "However, Super Saiyan is just the beginning. There are even more powerful transformations beyond this."
"Super Saiyan is just the beginning? What do you mean?" Cabba was stunned, a look of confusion crossing his face.
Crackle... crackle...
Golden arcs of electricity suddenly erupted around Vegeta's body, popping and crackling. His aura surged once again, his golden hair stood even more upright, and his gaze became sharper.
Vegeta had activated the Super Saiyan 2 transformation.
"This... this is?" Cabba stared blankly for a moment, his mouth slightly agape in disbelief.
Cabba could feel that Vegeta's aura was far more powerful than it had been just a moment ago.
"This is a transformation that surpasses a Super Saiyan. It can also be called Super Saiyan 2. Its power and speed are much greater than a regular Super Saiyan," Vegeta explained patiently, acting like a strict mentor.
"Super... Super Saiyan 2?" Cabba's expression froze, his heart deeply shaken.
He had no idea that Saiyans possessed such a powerful transformation.
Flash!
In the blink of an eye, the golden light on Vegeta's body changed color, turning into fiery red flames that burned intensely. His hair also turned a fiery red, and his eyes carried a hint of divine majesty.
Cabba's eyes widened in utter shock, his mouth hanging open wide enough to fit an egg.
Champa looked even more stunned. His pupils shrank violently, and he instinctively leaned forward, staring fixedly at Vegeta on the stage.
"Oh my... how surprising." Vados remarked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"This... this kid has another transformation! Just how much strength is he hiding?" Champa was beyond shocked, his voice trembling slightly. He never imagined Vegeta would be this strong.
"It truly is remarkable... this transformation has already closed the gap with Mr. Hit." Vados commented softly, her tone carrying a hint of admiration.
Champa mechanically turned his head to look at Vados, then glanced at Hit in the distance.
Hit, however, maintained a calm expression, as if Vegeta's transformation hadn't affected him at all, though the battle intent in his eyes grew even stronger.
"W-what kind of transformation is this?" Cabba hurriedly asked, his voice trembling.
"This is called Super Saiyan God. Transforming into this state is a qualitative leap; it's considered stepping into the realm of the gods," Vegeta's lips curled upward as his smile grew wider, his tone carrying a hint of pride.
"A qualitative leap..." Cabba was dazed, sensing the indescribable aura coming from Vegeta. "I can't sense your energy fluctuations at all, as if they don't exist, yet you feel incredibly powerful."
"That's normal, because I now possess the aura of a god," Vegeta smiled and explained. "A god's aura isn't that easy to sense! Even Kakarot isn't very sensitive when it comes to sensing a god's aura!"
As he spoke, Vegeta specifically pointed toward the nearby Goku, his eyes carrying a hint of teasing.
Goku: "..."
Goku scratched his head and gave a chuckle.
Cabba also stared blankly in Goku's direction for a moment before quickly turning back, his eyes full of admiration for Vegeta, though he said nothing.
"Next..." Vegeta grinned, and the flames on his body suddenly turned blue, like the deep ocean. He activated the Super Saiyan Blue transformation, his aura becoming even more refined and powerful than Super Saiyan God.
Cabba stared at the blue-haired Vegeta in total shock, once again stunned.
He felt as if his worldview had been completely overturned; he had no idea Saiyans could have so many powerful transformations.
Champa: "..."
Champa was speechless. His face shifted between green and white, and he felt incredibly frustrated. He never expected Vegeta to have such a card up his sleeve.
"This kid was hiding yet another transformation! Just how many trump cards does he have left?" Champa gritted his teeth, clenching his fists so hard his knuckles turned white, his heart full of resentment.
"Oh my... Mr. Vegeta's current transformation is now quite close to Mr. Hit's strength. This match is getting more and more interesting," Vados analyzed, speaking in a low voice.
Champa felt like his world was falling apart. His eyes darted around, and he suddenly had an idea. He leaned into Vados's ear and whispered, "Vados, how about we just forfeit the match right now? We'll say we have something very important to do and then slip away, so we don't lose too miserably."
Vados covered her face and shook her head helplessly.
"Great, it's decided then!" Champa chuckled, completely ignoring Vados's expression. He turned toward Beerus, intending to give him a greeting before making a quick getaway.
"Lord Champa, I actually believe... Mr. Hit might not necessarily lose to him. Mr. Hit's strength shouldn't be underestimated either. You should wait and see," Vados smiled and advised him.
Champa paused, looking at the calm Hit and then at the radiant Vegeta on the stage, hesitating.
He won't lose?
Is that true?
"At least based on Mr. Vegeta's current transformation, in terms of energy intensity, I estimate Hit still holds a certain advantage," Vados analyzed, squinting her eyes as she lightly tapped her chin with her staff.
"Really? Don't lie to me!" Champa's tense nerves relaxed slightly, his tone urgent for confirmation.
"It's true," Vados nodded gently, her smile still sweet.
Champa patted his chest and let out a long sigh of relief, feeling as if a massive weight had been lifted from his heart.
As long as it's true, that's fine. Scared the life out of me.
"This is... Blue..." Cabba spoke with a stutter, his eyes glued to Vegeta as if he were under a spell.
How could there be so many transformations beyond Super Saiyan?
Cabba felt his understanding of reality had been completely upended.
"Old Son, Vegeta is really learning from you now—transforming as if he wants the whole world to know about it," Piccolo sighed, his tone carrying a hint of teasing.
"Uncle Vegeta likes to play like this too now?" Son Gohan lowered his voice and whispered his criticism, feeling quite speechless.
Goku laughed and scratched his hair, saying nothing.
"If it were Old Son transforming, he'd probably have to keep going for at least dozens of minutes before finishing," Piccolo's lips curled into a mischievous smile.
"Add in Super Saiyan 4, Super Saiyan 5, and Super Saiyan 6... Uncle Piccolo, you're absolutely right," Son Gohan nodded thoughtfully, in full agreement.
Goku: "..."
