Chapter 204 - Chapter 204: He Actually Surpassed Lord Beerus!

"That's for hitting me when I was out of energy!" Broly grumbled as he continued to thrash Frieza. Emerald energy flickered around him; he was clearly still brooding over what had happened earlier.

Frieza, being slammed repeatedly, was completely disoriented and bewildered. When the hell did I ever hit you when you were out of energy? You were the one who chased me for over an hour and beat me half to death! How are you distorting the truth like this?

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Broly's assault showed no signs of stopping.

Old Son stood to the side, watching with his jaw dropped. Vegeta's brow was furrowed, his expression one of pure shock. Even Granolah looked stunned; he clearly hadn't expected Broly to have such a violent temper.

However, Granolah quickly snapped out of it and looked down at Monaito in his arms. To his horror, he realized Monaito's chest was no longer rising—he had stopped breathing.

"Monaito!" Granolah let out a heart-wrenching cry, his voice filled with despair.

SNAP!

Just then, Monaito's eyes flew open and he sat bolt upright. He looked around with a dazed expression, clearly having no idea what had just transpired. Granolah froze, staring at him in a stupor.

Old Son and Vegeta followed the gaze and realized that Whis had appeared nearby at some unknown moment, the staff in his hand glowing with a faint light. It was clear that Whis had intervened to save Monaito's life.

"Mr. Whis!" Goku called out excitedly, waving his hand.

"This old gentleman is a friend of Mr. Goku, so I'll make an exception this once." Whis said with a smile. He glanced over at Broly, who was still pummeling Frieza, and let out a small, helpless sigh. "It seems the little interlude here isn't quite over yet."

"Mr. Whis, the me from the other world... he seems incredibly strong," Old Son remarked with a look of awe.

"Yes, indeed," Whis nodded, his tone turning serious. "By my judgment, the Mr. Goku from the other world has reached a level of power that actually surpasses Lord Beerus."

"What? He's already surpassed Lord Beerus?" Old Son was instantly floored, his mouth hanging open wide enough to fit a fist. Beerus was a God of Destruction, a being of unfathomable power. Old Son had never imagined a mortal could truly surpass a Destroyer.

"What? Is that true?" Vegeta was also stunned, clenching his fists as a wave of frustration washed over him.

"Eh? I've already surpassed Lord Beerus?" Goku scratched his head with an excited grin. "I thought there was still a massive gap between us."

"Mr. Goku from the other world, have you contacted Lord Agu, the Supreme Kai of Universe 12, yet?" Whis shifted the conversation to the matter at hand.

"Not yet. I was planning to wait until things were settled here, but I suppose now is the time," Goku nodded.

"No need for all that trouble. I'll handle it," Whis said. He raised his staff, and the crystal ball at the top flared to life. A beam of light shot into the air, and in no time, a connection was established with the Supreme Kai of Universe 12.

"The Time Machine matter? I'm on my way!" Agu's voice crackled through the comms.

A split second later, a flash of light heralded Agu's arrival as he teleported in front of the group.

"I'm sorry for the trouble, Lord Agu," Whis said politely.

"Where is the Time Machine?" Agu asked, scanning the area with great interest.

"Over there," Goku pointed toward a clearing in the distance.

"And over there... what are they doing?" Agu's gaze followed Goku's finger, landing right on the scene of Broly swinging Frieza around by his tail. He couldn't help but furrow his brow.

"Oh, that? Just a little minor episode. Lord Agu needn't worry about such trivial details," Whis said quickly, trying to smooth things over with a smile.

Frieza: "..." Lying on the ground, Frieza heard Whis' words clearly and was left speechless. Minor episode, my ass! I'm being beaten to death by this lunatic!

FLASH!

Ignoring Frieza's resentment, Whis waved his staff through the air. A brilliant light flared, and the saucer-like Time Machine instantly appeared before them, landing steadily on the ground.

"I'll leave it to you, Lord Agu. The timeline this Mr. Goku needs to reach is the one where Zamasu is causing chaos. The coordinates shouldn't be too difficult to adjust," Whis explained.

"I understand," Agu nodded. He walked straight to the Time Machine, opened the hatch, and flew inside. In less than ten seconds, he emerged and gave Goku a final instruction. "Alright, the coordinates have been set. Do not mess with the dial, or you'll end up in the wrong timeline again."

"Thank you so much, Lord Agu!" Goku said, his voice full of gratitude.

"I'll be going then. Good luck to you all," Agu waved and vanished in another teleportation flash.

"Well then... Mr. Goku, Mr. Broly, you're ready to depart," Whis said with a smile.

"Thanks again, Mr. Whis!" Goku thanked him once more before shouting to Broly, "Broly! Stop hitting him! It's time to go!"

"Ugh..." Broly looked back at Goku, then delivered two more stinging slaps to Frieza's face before finally letting go with a look of reluctance. He blurred into a streak of emerald light and appeared beside Goku instantly.

Frieza lay paralyzed on the ground, his expression one of utter despondency. He stared up at the sky, tears nearly welling in his eyes. Since his revival, he had never been this humiliated.

"Are we ready? Can we go now?" Broly asked impatiently, clearly looking forward to the fight with Zamasu.

"Yeah, the Time Machine is ready. We're heading to the timeline with Zamasu and Black Vegeta right now," Goku nodded, stepping toward the machine.

Vegeta: "..." Hearing the name "Black Vegeta" made Vegeta's mouth twitch.

"Make sure you keep training! We're off!" Goku looked back and waved to Old Son and Vegeta as a final farewell. Then, Goku and Broly boarded the Time Machine.

The hatch sealed shut.

WHOOSH!

The Time Machine shot into the sky, becoming a streak of light before vanishing into the horizon.

Watching it go, both Old Son and Vegeta felt their mouths twitch. The power of the "other" versions of themselves was simply absurd. Frieza, meanwhile, just stared with wide eyes, his heart still reeling from the shock.

"Wait... wasn't that your clone?" Granolah suddenly snapped out of it, pointing toward where the Time Machine had vanished as he looked at Old Son.

"Clone? No," Old Son scratched his head with a laugh. "He's the me from another parallel world."

"So... that guy who looked just like Mr. Vegeta was also from another world?" Granolah turned to Vegeta, his eyes full of curiosity.

"Yes..." Vegeta nodded, his tone a complex mix of emotions.

Granolah: "..." He was left completely speechless. "I thought they were your clones the whole time. To think they were from parallel worlds... that's incredible."

"Well, it's all over now," Whis said with a satisfied smile, looking at Old Son and Vegeta. "Mr. Goku, Mr. Vegeta, I actually came here for another reason. Lord Beerus doesn't know how to prepare instant noodles properly, so he sent me to bring you two to his planet to teach him."

"Huh? Oh, okay!" Old Son agreed immediately.

"You just pour in boiling water and wait a few minutes. He doesn't even know that?" Vegeta was speechless, rolling his eyes at the absurdity of Beerus' request.

"Granolah, do you want to come to Lord Beerus' planet with us? The training environment there is excellent; it would be a huge help in increasing your strength!" Old Son invited warmly.

"I'm sorry, I can't go," Granolah shook his head gravely. "I must first use the Dragon Balls to restore this planet to the way it was before the battle."

"He's right," Monaito added, standing up with a firm expression. "Once the planet is restored, we should stop using the Dragon Balls. It's better to seal them away. Their power fosters greed too easily and only brings more trouble."

"Is that so? It seems like a bit of a waste, but I suppose it's necessary," Goku nodded thoughtfully. He knew all too well the trouble the Dragon Balls could bring.

"Regardless, you'll probably be needing this, right?" Vegeta pulled a small device from his pocket and handed it to Granolah. It was the Dragon Radar.

Granolah was stunned as he took the device, looking at Vegeta with confusion.

"It's a Dragon Radar," Vegeta explained. "With this, you can pinpoint the Dragon Balls scattered across the universe. You won't have to search aimlessly like before."

"Thank you so much!" Granolah was overjoyed, clutching the radar as he thanked him.

"Son of Bardock, you forgot this!" Monaito suddenly remembered something and pulled an old scouter from his pocket, handing it to Old Son. "This is the scouter your father, Bardock, left behind. Perhaps it will be of use to you."

Old Son took the scouter and scratched his head. "This... honestly, I should have given it to the other me. In his world, my father is still alive. This scouter would probably mean a lot more to him."

"We should be going," Whis said, checking the time.

"Right," Old Son nodded. He looked over at Frieza, still lying on the ground, and called out, "Frieza, we're leaving! You better behave yourself!"

Frieza didn't say a word; he just rolled his eyes.

"Let's go!" Whis tapped his staff lightly on the ground. A brilliant light enveloped Old Son and Vegeta, lifting them into the air as they flew toward Beerus' planet.

"Mr. Whis, that 'Strongest in the Universe' the Oracle Fish talked about... who is it really? Is it Frieza, or the me from the other world?" Old Son couldn't help but ask during the flight. He had been curious about this for a long time.

"It likely refers to Mr. Frieza," Whis replied. "The appearance of the Mr. Goku from the other world was an accident; he wasn't part of the prophecy."

"Man, the other me is just too strong. He actually surpassed Lord Beerus," Old Son remarked with a look of longing. "Once we're back, I'm going to train like crazy. I've gotta catch up to him!"

"Hmph. One day, I'll surpass the other you!" Vegeta clenched his fists, his tone full of stubborn defiance.

The Future World of Trunks.

While Goku and Broly had previously taken a wrong turn through the dimensions, Vegeta, Frieza, and Trunks had already arrived in this timeline via the Time Machine. Their sudden appearance immediately drew the attention of Goku Black, Black Vegeta, and the others.

"Trunks is back, and he brought help!" Goku Black sneered from the air. "If I had to guess, it's Son Goku and Vegeta."

"Perfect. We can wipe them all out at once and save ourselves the trouble later," Black Vegeta said with a confident smile, clenching his right fist.

"Don't underestimate them. Those two are powerful, especially Son Goku," Goku Black warned, his tone grave as he took a deep breath.

"Let's go. We'll see for ourselves just how much this world's Son Goku and Vegeta are worth," Black Vegeta said, taking flight toward the landing site.

Goku Black, Black Broly, and Zamasu followed close behind, their bodies radiating intense energy as they prepared for battle.

Soon, the two sides came face-to-face amidst the ruins.

However, when Goku Black and the others saw that the newcomers were Vegeta and a "lizard monster" they had never seen before, they were all taken aback.

"Is that Son Goku?" Black Vegeta asked with a furrowed brow. "How did he end up looking like that? Did he swap bodies with someone else?"

"Hey, Son Goku! Who'd you swap bodies with? Why'd you turn into a lizard?" Goku Black called out from a distance, his tone dripping with mockery.

Frieza: "..."

Frieza's face instantly darkened, several veins bulging on his forehead as his energy began to fluctuate uncontrollably. You actually think I'm Son Goku? And you have the balls to call me a lizard?

"Are your eyes just for show?" Frieza barked, his voice cold enough to freeze the air. "I am the Emperor of the Universe, Frieza! Not that idiot Son Goku! Don't you ever lump me in with that low-class Saiyan trash!"

"Frieza? Do any of you know this guy?" Goku Black asked, turning to Black Vegeta, Zamasu, and Black Broly with a look of confusion.

Black Vegeta, Zamasu, and Black Broly all shook their heads, indicating they had never heard the name before.

"I remember now!" Goku Black muttered, his expression shifting as he pondered. "Back when the Sixth and Seventh Universes held their martial arts tournament, there was a guy who looked just like this lizard. He was a warrior from Universe 6, what was his name again..."

"Frost?" Black Vegeta chimed in, sounding uncertain.

"Right, Frost!" Goku Black nodded, his tone growing certain. "I didn't expect this world to have someone who looks so much like him. Though his strength probably isn't up to much."

"I remember too. There was indeed such a person. I believe he tried to use some petty tricks before being defeated by Vegeta," Black Broly added with a light chuckle, his voice dripping with disdain. "Is every random Tom, Dick, and Harry brave enough to join the fray now?"

"Frieza, they're calling you a nobody," Vegeta said, watching Frieza's face darken. He couldn't help but smirk, deliberately adding fuel to the fire.

"These death-seeking fools!" Frieza was absolutely fuming, a massive surge of energy erupting from him in an instant. "I, Frieza, will wipe every single one of them out! Vegeta, stay out of this! I'm going to show them exactly what happens when you offend the Emperor of the Universe!"

"Hmph. Suit yourself. Either way, I'm the one who decides how this ends," Vegeta said, crossing his arms and lifting his chin. A cold, arrogant smirk tugged at his lips, his eyes full of disdain. In Vegeta's view, Goku Black and his group weren't even worthy of his full effort.

"Father, don't you find this strange?" Trunks asked, his face grave as his fingers clenched unconsciously. His voice was low and carried a hint of unease.

"What?" Vegeta raised an eyebrow, glancing sideways at him with a touch of impatience. He clearly hadn't taken Trunks' concerns to heart.

"Mr. Goku and Mr. Broly... why aren't they here yet?" Trunks' brow was knit tight, his words coming out fast. "By all accounts, their Time Machine is more advanced than ours. They should have arrived ages ago. You don't think something happened to them, do you?"

"Hmph. Don't worry about them," Vegeta scoffed, a faint aura beginning to ripple around him. "It doesn't matter if Kakarot shows up or not; the ending will be the same. Those guys are nothing special. I can handle this alone."

As he spoke, the confidence in his smirk grew even more intense, as if victory were already in the bag.

"Vegeta, you're just as arrogant as ever," Goku Black's voice suddenly drifted from the depths of the ruins. He stepped slowly out of the shadows, hands in his pockets, a sinister smile on his face and malice burning in his eyes. "But that arrogance of yours is about to turn into pure despair."

"Frieza, leave this one to me. The rest are yours," Vegeta said, not bothering to waste words on Goku Black. He jerked his chin toward Frieza, his tone a command that brooked no argument.

Frieza didn't say a word. Instead, a dark purple aura suddenly erupted around him.

Black Gold Mode: Activated!

The purple flames rolled around Frieza like flowing lava, warping the air with their heat.

WHOOSH!

Frieza blurred into a streak of purple light, leaving almost no afterimage as he lunged straight for Black Vegeta. He moved so fast the air pressure sent surrounding debris flying.

Black Vegeta's pupils dilated, his face turning deathly pale. He hadn't expected Frieza to be this fast! Before he could even summon his energy to defend, Frieza's claws were already inches away.

SQUELCH!

Frieza's razor-sharp claws tore through Black Vegeta's heart with zero effort. Dark red blood trickled through his fingers, splattering onto the ground like blooming flowers of gore.

"A-Agh... AAAAGH!"

Black Vegeta let out a piercing, agonized wail. His body convulsed violently as his life-force drained away like a receding tide, his eyes filled with terror and disbelief.

SHLUCK!

Frieza curled his lip in disdain as he slowly withdrew his hand, a still-beating red heart held in his grasp. He gave the heart a little shake and laughed. "You call yourself Black Vegeta? I thought your heart would actually be black. To think it looks just like any other commoner's."

With that, Frieza's fingers suddenly clenched.

CRUNCH!

The heart was instantly crushed into a pulp, blood splattering all over Frieza's hand.

The sight left Goku Black, Black Broly, and Zamasu frozen in their tracks, their eyes wide with shock. None of them had expected Frieza to be powerful enough to one-shot Black Vegeta!

THUD!

Black Vegeta's body slumped to the ground, his limbs twitching a few times before falling still.

"Now... who's next?" Frieza said, casually wiping the blood from his hand. His gaze drifted over the remaining three, his eyes full of a predatory playfulness, as if he were picking out his next meal.

"Let me deal with you," Black Broly said, stepping forward. With every step, the ground buckled under his weight. A faint black aura rippled around him, his eyes burning with a savage fury. He was clearly incensed by Frieza's arrogance.

Seeing Black Broly, the hatred in Frieza's eyes intensified instantly. Back in his own world, Broly had pummeled him until he had no strength left to fight back. Now, this "Black Broly" was the perfect target to vent his frustration.

BOOM!

Black Broly didn't hesitate. His energy flared, his body swelling as his muscles knotted and tore through his clothes. Red and green flames erupted from his body like writhing serpents, coiling around him and making the very air feel heavy and oppressive.

"Oh?" Frieza raised an eyebrow, his lip curling in a mocking smirk. "A fancy transformation. Let's see if the strength matches the show."

Vegeta narrowed his eyes, giving Black Broly a long look. The flickering red and green colors of the transformation were eerie and unsettling, completely different from the Legendary form of the Broly he knew.

However, the moment Black Broly finished his transformation, a dark figure suddenly appeared behind Frieza, snatching up the dying Black Vegeta.

It was Zamasu!

His eyes were cold and full of malice; he clearly intended to take Black Vegeta away for healing. Even though Black Vegeta's heart had been crushed, he hadn't quite drawn his last breath. With timely treatment, he might still be saved.

Zamasu grabbed Black Vegeta, preparing to teleport away.

Suddenly...

WHACK!

Frieza's tail lashed out like a steel whip, slamming squarely into Zamasu's face. The dull thud of the impact sent Zamasu flying. He crashed into the ruins, tumbling several times before skidding to a halt, blood leaking from the corner of his mouth.

"Ohohoho! I knew someone would try to save him!" Frieza rubbed his nose, his laugh growing even more condescending. "What? Planning to heal this trash? I, Frieza, am not so kind-hearted as to leave you an opening."

As he spoke, Frieza's tail coiled around Black Vegeta's neck like a flexible snake, hoisting him high into the air. Black Vegeta's head hung limp, his eyes shut tight, his breath so faint it was almost non-existent. He was on the brink of death.

"Just to be safe, I think it's best to turn him into smithereens," Frieza said with a cruel smile, purple energy beginning to coalesce at his fingertips.
