Chapter 58 - Ch 58- Victor's Death

Seeing the Marine soldiers falling one after another, Viktor's anger instantly exploded.

Although he often beat and cursed these Marines, they were still his "brothers."

Only he had the right to kill his own brothers.

"Bastard!"

"Red Hawk, a filthy bloodline like yours should not exist in this world!"

"All pirates are trash!"

"You too!"

"Die for me!" Viktor roared as he suddenly rushed toward Alvin from behind. The whooshing sound of his Armament Haki coated fists slicing through the air echoed loudly.

"Yes. All pirates are trash and deserve to die. So you World Government dogs must die as well!" Alvin replied coldly.

His body spun instantly, and the Demon Blade Chronicle slashed toward Viktor in a flash.

With a wet tearing sound, the Demon Blade Chronicle once again cut into Viktor's left hand.

The blade sliced deep into his palm.

Blood immediately poured from Viktor's left hand, and the intense pain twisted his face into a frightening expression.

The madness in his eyes intensified. He looked like a furious beast determined to tear apart the enemy before him.

"Do you think you can defeat me just by cutting me? Red Hawk, today will be your death day!" Viktor roared hoarsely as his Marine coat flapped wildly in the sea wind.

Ignoring the pain in his left hand, he raised his right fist high.

Armament Haki gathered around his fist, forming a dark and heavy glow.

A suffocating pressure filled the air, as if the terrifying power of this punch was already foreshadowed.

Alvin curled his lips into a mocking sneer.

The smile on his face carried obvious disdain toward Viktor.

"Just you? You are not worthy of talking like that."

His voice was cold and sharp.

The Demon Blade Chronicle in his hand trembled slightly, and the scarlet patterns on the blade became brighter, as if the weapon itself was craving more blood.

Without hesitation, Viktor suddenly charged forward.

His right fist tore through the air and blasted toward Alvin like a cannonball.

Alvin's eyes narrowed slightly.

He pushed off lightly with his feet, and his body moved aside like a bolt of black lightning.

Viktor's punch brushed past Alvin's clothing.

The powerful wind from the strike caused Alvin's hair to whip wildly.

Taking advantage of Viktor missing his punch and losing balance, Alvin raised the Demon Blade Chronicle high above his head.

Then he brought the blade down with tremendous force.

"Clang!"

Viktor reacted with incredible speed.

He raised his left arm coated in Armament Haki and blocked the strike.

The Demon Blade Chronicle crashed against his arm, producing a loud metallic clang and a burst of sparks.

The violent impact forced Viktor to retreat several steps.

Deep footprints were left in the wooden deck beneath his feet.

"Hmph. You do have some skill." Alvin snorted coldly.

Yet there was no fear in his eyes.

Only the excitement of battle.

He swung the Demon Blade Chronicle again.

Streaks of crimson blade light swept toward Viktor like a raging storm.

Viktor gritted his teeth and blocked the attacks repeatedly with both arms.

Each block brought intense pain.

His arms were already covered with bloody wounds, and blood flowed down his forearms before dripping onto the deck.

"All Marines, attack together!" Viktor shouted while struggling to block Alvin's relentless attacks.

The surrounding Marine soldiers were terrified.

But when they heard the command of their Rear Admiral, they still gathered their courage and charged toward Alvin once again.

For a moment, the entire warship was filled with the shouts of battle.

Smoke and the smell of gunpowder spread across the deck.

Alvin stood surrounded by Marine soldiers, yet his expression remained calm.

His body moved through the crowd like a ghost.

Each swing of the Demon Blade Chronicle was followed by screams and sprays of blood.

Those Marine soldiers were like fragile ants in front of him.

They were easily cut down.

"Red Shadow · Thousand Feathers!" Alvin unleashed the technique again.

His body instantly split into countless afterimages.

Crimson blade light danced through the ranks of Marines like drifting feathers.

Each swing of the blade caused another Marine soldier to collapse.

Blood quickly dyed the entire warship deck into a sea of red.

Watching his subordinates fall one after another, Viktor's anger finally reached its peak.

"Red Hawk, I will tear you into pieces!" he roared as he rushed toward Alvin recklessly.

He completely ignored his own injuries.

Alvin looked at the charging Viktor with cold killing intent flashing in his eyes.

"Then come."

"Let's see whether your life is tougher or my blade is faster."

He pushed off with his feet and shot forward like a cannonball.

The two collided instantly.

The violent impact caused the surrounding air to vibrate.

The Demon Blade Chronicle and Viktor's Armament Haki clashed again and again, producing bright flashes of light.

Every collision was accompanied by a powerful shockwave.

The entire warship trembled violently, as if it might collapse under the pressure of their battle.

"Pfft!"

The sound of a blade piercing flesh rang out once again.

Alvin's Demon Blade Chronicle cut deeply into Viktor's right arm.

Viktor's arm immediately lost all strength.

It hung limply at his side as blood gushed out like a fountain.

"Ah!" Viktor screamed in pain as his body staggered backward several steps.

His eyes were filled with unwillingness and despair.

He never imagined that he would be defeated by such a young man.

"Viktor, prepare to die!" Alvin shouted.

He gripped the Demon Blade Chronicle tightly with both hands, leaped high into the air, and then slashed downward with all his strength.

The scarlet blade reflected the sunlight with a deadly glow.

It looked like the scythe of the Grim Reaper descending upon its prey.

Viktor stared at the incoming blade light.

His heart filled with fear.

He knew that today would likely be the end of him.

Just before the blade struck, he somehow found a final burst of strength.

Using the last of his power, he forced his body to dodge to the side.

"Crack!"

The Demon Blade Chronicle struck the deck heavily.

The solid wooden deck split apart with a long crack, sending splinters flying in every direction.

Alvin missed with the strike, but he did not pause.

He immediately pulled the Demon Blade Chronicle free and launched another attack.

Viktor was already exhausted.

His body swayed weakly, and he looked as though he could collapse at any moment.

Facing Alvin's next attack, he no longer had the strength to resist.

"It's over." Alvin's cold voice echoed in Viktor's ears.

The Demon Blade Chronicle flashed with crimson light as it swept across Viktor's body.

The blade cut him cleanly in half at the waist.

"Ugh..." Viktor's eyes widened as he spat out a mouthful of blood.

His body split into two halves and slowly collapsed backward.

Even until the moment of his death, he could not believe that he had been killed by Red Hawk Alvin.

The same man he had once regarded as nothing more than an insignificant ant.

With Viktor's death, the remaining Marine soldiers completely lost their will to fight.

They looked at Alvin with horror, as if they were staring at a demon that had crawled out of hell.

"Run!"

Someone shouted in panic.

The Marine soldiers instantly scattered in every direction like frightened animals.

Just like the pirates of Skull Bay before them, they jumped into the sea one after another, hoping to escape Alvin by fleeing into the ocean.

Alvin watched the fleeing Marines without the slightest trace of pity in his eyes.

Holding the Demon Blade Chronicle, he slowly walked toward the edge of the warship.

Each step he took released a chilling killing intent.

"Skull Bay. Now it is your turn."

"I wonder how many bounty points you can provide me..."

Alvin stood at the bow of the warship and looked toward the distant direction of Skull Bay.

The killing intent around him grew even stronger.

At that moment, the sea wind across the ocean grew more violent.

Waves slammed heavily against the warship's hull with loud crashing sounds.

Dark clouds slowly gathered in the sky above.

It looked as though a powerful storm was approaching.

And Alvin, like the ruler of that storm, was about to bring endless fury and slaughter to Skull Bay.
