Chapter 90 - Ch 90- Ella Floran

Before reaching Volunt Icefield, Alvin noticed something rather amusing.

After getting close to Volunt Icefield, ships disguised as merchant vessels began appearing along the route from time to time. Almost all of them followed the exact same pattern and standard.

Seeing this scene, Alvin did not know whether to laugh or sigh.

Through his Observation Haki, he discovered that not only were Oro and Hanafuda currently on Volunt Icefield, but a Marine Vice Admiral had also joined forces with them.

This discovery made Alvin even more interested.

The corners of Alvin's lips curved upward slightly, excitement flickering in his eyes. He was not worried about the schemes waiting for him at all. Instead, he was like a shark that had smelled blood, becoming even more exhilarated.

He rode his jet ski across the rough sea. The roaring wind swept past his face and scattered his hair, yet his gaze remained firm as he stared straight ahead at the distant outline of Volunt Icefield.

"Since you all want to play so badly, then I will play with you properly," Alvin muttered quietly to himself.

His voice was swallowed by the roaring wind, but a faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Right after that, he suddenly changed direction and headed toward another coastline of Volunt Icefield that was closer to the royal capital.

Who knew how much time had passed.

In Winter Harbor, Oro and the others were waiting for Alvin's arrival. As time went on without any new information, their expressions gradually became more serious.

When the Den Den Mushi rang again, Oro immediately answered it. Only then did they learn that Red Hawk had disappeared.

"Could he have discovered us?" Vlad asked with a frown.

"Impossible. All those ships were disguised as merchant vessels, and the people on board were my most trusted subordinates. There is no way he could have discovered it," Oro immediately retorted with confidence.

Hanafuda, however, was far less optimistic.

If Red Hawk had truly discovered their surveillance and chosen not to land in Winter Harbor, then the massive trap they had prepared there would become completely useless.

Thinking about this made him feel extremely irritated.

Looking back on it now, he felt like his brain had stopped working earlier. How had he agreed to Oro's foolish suggestion of monitoring Red Hawk the entire way?

Now the plan had to be changed.

He immediately said in a serious tone, "Regardless of whether Red Hawk has discovered us or not, we must assume that he has. Oro, immediately send people to search the entire kingdom. He must have landed on another coast."

Oro thought for a moment, then slowly nodded before immediately leaving to make arrangements.

After Oro left, Vice Admiral Vlad looked at Hanafuda with a strange expression.

His eyes clearly conveyed a silent question.

How did you even end up cooperating with an idiot like that?

Seeing Vlad's gaze made Hanafuda feel a surge of irritation, and an awkward expression briefly appeared on his face.

Time continued to pass, and it was already noon the next day.

Today was a special day.

It was New Year's Day in the year 1514 of the Sea Calendar.

However, Oro, Vlad, and Hanafuda showed no signs of celebration. Their expressions were just as unpleasant as they had been the day before.

"I have already mobilized all the military forces and intelligence personnel throughout the kingdom to search the entire Floran Kingdom, but there is still no trace of Red Hawk," Oro said in a low voice.

For some reason, an uneasy feeling had begun to grow in his heart.

It felt as though something terrible was approaching.

"Keep searching," Hanafuda said impatiently.

"If Red Hawk wants to leave Volunt Icefield for the next island, then unless he has an Eternal Pose he will be forced to stay here for at least half a month."

"Half a month. I refuse to believe he will not appear during that time."

Hanafuda was already becoming anxious.

He greatly desired the ability that allowed Red Hawk to ignore the restraining power of Sea Stone.

What angered him the most was that Kaido had already learned about this matter and had ordered him to obtain the method that allowed Devil Fruit users to resist Sea Stone.

His two children were still in Wano Country.

Because of that, he had no choice but to find Red Hawk no matter what.

"Half a month is too long. Red Hawk must be found within seven days. I must return to Marine Headquarters after seven days," Vlad said firmly.

Oro stood up again.

"I will immediately order them to expand the search area and begin searching the forests as well."

Frost Flower City, the royal capital of the Floran Kingdom.

While Oro was mobilizing the kingdom's military and intelligence forces to search for Alvin, Alvin himself had already arrived in Frost Flower City.

This city was built along an entire mountain range.

Every building was constructed from deep blue ice crystals, and the streets were decorated with beautifully carved ice sculptures. Even many everyday items were crafted from ice crystals.

Because of the unique geography of the Floran Kingdom, travelers often came from distant seas just to witness the beautiful scenery of this ice kingdom.

After disguising himself, Alvin walked openly into Frost Flower City. He looked nothing like a wanted man.

After tasting several local delicacies, Alvin heard an interesting piece of information while sitting in a tavern.

It turned out that the original ruler of the Floran Kingdom was not Oro.

The true monarch had been his wife, Ella Floran, the legitimate royal heir of this nation.

Oro had married Queen Ella through a matrilocal marriage.

However, one day Queen Ella suddenly announced that Oro would become the new king of the kingdom.

The entire country had been extremely confused by this decision.

From that moment onward, Queen Ella never appeared in the Floran Kingdom again.

Neither did the other members of the royal family.

Rumors began spreading that Queen Ella and the royal family had all been killed by Oro.

Many people believed this rumor.

But no one dared to speak about it openly.

Alvin seemed to understand something.

According to the timeline, Oro had become king shortly after Hanafuda became one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

"It seems that Oro becoming the king of the Floran Kingdom must have been arranged by Hanafuda," Alvin murmured as he looked toward the royal palace.

Night soon fell.

Under the moonlight and artificial lights, the entire city looked incredibly beautiful.

However, Alvin had no interest in admiring the scenery.

After leaving the tavern, he tore off his disguise and boldly walked toward the palace.

As for why nobody stopped him, the answer was simple.

All the guards who tried to stop him were now lying on the ground with broken arms and legs, bruised and groaning in pain.

The incident in the palace was quickly reported to Oro, Vlad, and Hanafuda.

"This is bad. Hanafuda, if Red Hawk releases that woman then our secret will be exposed," Oro shouted in panic.

"I told you back then to kill that woman immediately," Hanafuda said with a dark expression.

"But you refused because you were greedy for her beauty. Now you have not even tasted that beauty, and if Red Hawk releases her you can prepare to die."

"Now is not the time to argue about that," Vlad said with an irritated expression.

"We must hurry to Frost Flower City."

Oro and Hanafuda nodded.

The three of them immediately gathered their forces and rushed toward Frost Flower City together with their subordinates.
