Audrey couldn't bear to witness Daniel hugging another woman. The man she had loved wholeheartedly was now in the arms of someone else. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably as she drove, intermittently wiping them away with her hand. Memories of her time with Daniel flashed before her eyes, and the emotions became overwhelming. Unable to contain herself any longer, she pulled over by the side of the road, rested her head on the steering wheel, and let the tears flow.
After composing herself, Audrey wiped her face and headed to Diamond Snow to pick up Celine from school. Upon arriving at the school, she spotted Celine walking hand in hand with Prince towards the school gates. Behind them, Sarah and James were laughing and chatting, both eating ice cream and holding hands, clearly a couple as well.
Celine noticed Audrey's car and approached her, while Prince made his way to his red Ferrari. He often drove himself to school and back home whenever his chauffeur wasn't with him, which was often the case. Meanwhile, James got into his black Porsche, with Sarah in the passenger seat, and drove away after waving goodbye to both Celine and Prince.
Celine sensed Audrey's sadness and asked, 'What's wrong?' as they drove away from the school.
'It's nothing,' Audrey replied, not wanting to burden Celine with the reason for her sorrow.
'How can 'nothing' make you sad? Don't tell me your cheap boyfriend is the cause of your sadness...'
After about ten minutes, they finally arrived at Diamond Gardens. As the gates automatically opened for their car, the maids in view greeted them respectfully. Stopping the car in front of the entrance, Audrey handed the car key to the butler, who would drive it to the garage, and then she grabbed her bag, stepping out of the car with Celine.
As they walked inside, Audrey's phone began ringing again, but she chose not to answer it. Celine casually tossed her navy blue Louis Vuitton luxury rucksack onto the living room couch and headed straight for the fridge, where she grabbed a chilled drink and a slice of strawberry cake.
Meanwhile, Audrey proceeded to her room, which resembled a pink princess chamber, just like Celine's room. It exuded a sense of grandeur, with everything adorned in various shades of pale pink, even the dolls. Potted plants on the windowsill added to the room's charm. Everything had been meticulously designed to create a captivating atmosphere.
As Audrey gazed out of her window at the small daisies in the setting sun, their beauty captivated her, much like the life she lived—carefree and princess-like. However, despite the luxury and beauty that surrounded her, Audrey's heart ached at the thought of Daniel, who was hugging another woman, disturbing her inner tranquility.

As she lay in bed, crying, Audrey received a WhatsApp message from Daniel.
'Are you home?' he enquired.
Audrey read the message but chose not to reply.
'Are you free? I want us to chat,' Daniel persisted.
'I already know what you want to say,' Audrey responded angrily.
'No, it's not what you think,' Daniel pleaded.
'I saw everything...' Audrey uttered.
'The woman I was hugging was my sister. I know you're angry with me for not telling you about Chioma's relationship, but I would never do anything to betray your trust. I was feeling low today because you no longer answer my calls or respond to my messages. I had to call my sister over for advice on how to win your love back. What you witnessed was my sister hugging me, not me cheating on you. I love you more than anything in this world,' Daniel explained sincerely.
'I'm sorry, I misjudged you. But I'm not ready to forgive you yet for deceiving me,' Audrey admitted.
'Then why did you come to me? Did you come because you missed me as much as I miss you?' Daniel enquired.
Audrey knew he was telling the truth, but instead of replying directly, she wrote, 'I'm feeling tired now. I have to go.'
'I love you,' Daniel expressed with a rose emoji.
Audrey gazed at the message, a sense of warmth engulfing her as she softly mumbled in her heart, 'I love you too,' instead of typing a reply to him.
After her silent confession, her heart raced instantly. She realised that she couldn't imagine her life without him, and the feeling was mutual—Daniel couldn't do without her either. With this forgiveness, she felt a profound happiness and a sense of emotional nourishment.
