A few seconds had passed, and she could not feel any pain. She opened her eyes, and her eyes widened when she saw Victor standing in front of her, as his scythe had blocked the sword and black lightning crackled around his body.
But someone else was even more shocked than Seraphina herself. Valerie, who saw Victor suddenly turn into black lightning and rush towards Seraphina, had barely any time to react, and when she realized what she had just witnessed, her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets and her jaw hit the floor.
"B-Black lightning, t-that's Faceless!" Valerie shouted in disbelief.
Valerie's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as she looked at Victor like she could drill holes through him with her gaze, her eyes trailing towards the black lightning that was crackling around his body.
