 It was still quiet in the building, but it was a different kind of quiet. It no longer carried the steady calm of control. It held awareness now, layered beneath every movement, woven into every system that had once functioned without question. Nothing appeared disrupted, yet nothing was deemed safe.

Seraphina stood in front of the screen long after the footage had frozen. The corridor remained empty; the log still recorded her presence. The reflection, faint and almost indistinct, stayed fixed in the glass panel where it should not have existed. She did not rush to conclusions; she did not reach for an immediate explanation. She allowed the information to settle, aligning with what she had already confirmed over the past days.

This was not a single breach. It was a structure.
