Kiruyin was going to the dorm to turn on the AC and just do nothing but an interesting scene was playing out before him that made him stop to enjoy it.
Kushida was talking with her friends in front of a cafe. They were at a distance away but Kiruyin, with his hearing, could hear everything perfectly clear.
Kushida hadn't noticed him yet. They had interacted a few times in the past few days and he now knew for a fact that she was a snake. A snake that, instead of usuing others, gets used instead.
The testimonial of that was the scene before him. From what he could understand, Kushida and others from Class-D had been just roaming around when a girl suddenly suggested to go to the cafe since they were here. But they were short on points and was "borrowing" from her. Kushida the "angel" she is, didn't refuse and paid for them happily.
Now, after they were done with their business in the cafe, they decided to go to the dorms. But Kushida stayed behind saying she has somewhere to go.
Kiruyin could understand where she has to go. She is probably going to go to some quite place to vent. People like Kushida needs to vent once in a while or they will probably go crazy.
A teasing glint appeared in Kiruyin's expression.
'Shall I tease her a bit~.'
Kiruyin decided to approach Kushida and stop her from venting today!
He felt it was a very good plan. But he was not evil so he decided to treat her with something and get some information about Class-D while he was at it.
'I wonder why they need points like that? Did Ms. Atlas not tell them about the info she bought from me? Hmm~. Could be. Could be.'
He had heard from his classmates that Class-D were basically trash in every way. He wouldn't surprised if all of them had blown through all their points and were expecting the same amount to be paid next month.
And Judging from how the personality of the female Horikita is, it would be of no surprise to him if she didn't tell her classmates just to teach them a lesson while radiating that "Don't talk to me!" And "I can carry the world alone!" Vibe around her. That's why Kiruyin felt Ms. Atlas was the most apt nickname for her because both of them carries the world!
'LOL.'
Speaking of which, he only has a like 900,000 points left! His budget was tight! He couldn't afford something expensive for Kushida. Maybe some cold drinks with milk.
Kiruyin approached the waving Kushida with a smile on his face.
"Good evening Kushida-san! How are you doing today?"
Kushida turned and feigned surprise. But he could tell that she was a bit irritated. Not because he approached but because of his scent. It was very strong after all. Enough for some people feel like they are chocking on it.
"Good evening Sakiho-kun! I'm fine! What about you? I see your in a good mood today. Did something good happen? Mmm~ don't tell me Ichinose-san and your~?"
Kiruyin watched Kushida with interest. He was barely able to hold himself back and keep his expression in check. Kushida was just too funny. Watching her trying to mask her true intent while also trying to get some information is next level entertainment.
'I wonder why was I so freaked out when we first met? If I knew she was such an interesting person, I would have interacted more. Ah~ the regret.'
Kiruyin regretted not interacting sooner. He regretted missing out on many interesting entertainment content. But what happened, happened. He just needed to make sure not to miss out on any anymore.
"Kushida-san. How about I treat you to something as an apology for not contacting you after we came to the school? I haven't properly apologise yet. But I can't treat you to anything expensive. Hehe~. I'm- I'm a bit short on budget unfortunately."
Kiruyin completely ignored Kushida's probe all together. Almost as if he hadn't heard it. And Kushida when her angel persona is on, can't call it out because that is irrelevant compared to the hand stretched out for connection.
Although she tried to mask it, he could tell that she was a bit pissed but as expected she didn't call him out.
'Fufufu~. This is more fun than I had expected.'
"Hehe~. Don't worry Sakiho-kun. It's fine. I just had cold coffee with my friends. If your budget is short, you don't have to push yourself. Just make sure to help me make more friends okay~?"
"Nonono. That won't do Kushida-san. I would feel guilty for hurting such a good person like you. So please, you can just take it to the dorms and drink later."
"Hmm~... Alright Sakiho-kun~. If you insist so much~ then I will accept."
Kushida said with a bit a of reluctance. Kiruyin lead her to a vending machine while making a bit of small talk. Basically setting stage for the question he has been meaning to ask. He had intentionally brought up points so he his main question or anything leading up to it doesn't feel out of place.
He bought her and himself a latte. He saw that she accepted with a smile on her face, but her internal thoughts were not so one liner. Kiruyin had no idea what this girl was thinking because he has no idea why she is like this in the first place.
Like, who has such ridiculously unrealistic dream of making friends with everyone? Or it was more like, make everyone like her. Listen to her. Or something along those lines. Some times he wonders if she was dumb or he was and read her differently. But that's besides the point because he felt it was the prime time to ask his question.
"Kushida-san. I've been meaning to ask, I hear your friends borrow Points from you, why is that? Don't tell me you guys all blew away your Points?"
Kiruyin asked with a genuine curiosity. The reason for asking such question was to gauge the level of defectiveness of Class-D. He was now sure that Ms. Atlas really hadn't told anyone about what she knows. She may even get in trouble later. But that's her problem. She probably won't care.
"Mm? Ah! No! Not at all. It's just that they are a bit short because they spent them on room decorations and other expenses. They promised to return after they get points again next month!"
Kushida said firmly. Kiruyin gave her an understanding gaze while taking sip of his latte. She had also opened hers. Despite saying not wanting it.
He suddenly understood the mindset of Class-D. They think this is a heaven and they are the gods who could do anything without consciousness... maybe not to that extent but close enough for him to understand.
Kiruyin was suddenly overcome with intense lose of interest. He now just wanted to go to the dorms. But he wondered if he should drop hints. Would she catch them? If she does, how will she use it? And can she actually manipulate people?
Kiruyin licked his lips in wonder. He really wanted to know what happens when this fake snake gets a bit of poison. Will she poison herself or others?
"I see. That's good then. I also blew up points and now is only left with few thousand(times 900) points left. Haha~. But you know Kushida-san, my classmates are so frugal. They are saving their points just in case. I mean, why go to such lengths when the school promised that we will get points first of every month?"
"Hehe~. Sakiho-kun. It's not good to talk about people behind their back. But your right"
Kiruyin secretly studied Kushida and wondered if it was too subtle. But he figured that once she calmed down, she may be able to figure out the implication. Because, why would Class-B try to save points "just in case" if not for the fact that they have figured something out?
"Haha~. You're right as well. I will keep your advice in mind. But alright Kushida-san. I won't keep you anymore. You can go to where you wanted to. Bye bye~~~!"
"Okay bye Sakiho-kun ~~. It was very nice talking to you! Goodbye! See later!"
With that Kiruyin and Kushida parted ways. As he walked towards the dorms while sipping the latte, the sun was almost about to set. He was sweating a bit and couldn't wait to take a shower and never leave his room again. But he also wondered who else in this school are as interesting as Kushida?
He jogged his memories. Self Blowing Brother(Kōenji) wasn't that interesting. He was just an essentric narcissist. Nothing special about him.
Ms. Atlas? He wasn't sure about her yet. She seemed like a person with big ego with no backing.
Even the cane holding loli isn't that interesting. She may have terrifying intelligence, according to what he had heard at least, she is still someone who wasn't a person of long term fun.
He suddenly remembered a emotionless dude with a flying fish hair style. What was the average age of the first year? Around 16? And life had beaten someone so bad that they had already lost all emotions? Even socio pathetic people aren't that emotionless. Kiruyin never once believed that flying fish head was normal.
'He seems like an interesting person.'
A smile involuntarily formed on his face. Kiruyin waited for the elevator as he thought of all the genuinely interesting person in this school.
"A very~ veeeeryyyy interesting person ~~. Hehe~."
The lift arrived and he got in murmuring and giggling like a child. There were no one in the lift at the moment and he got to his floor without stopping.
He got in his dorm room, turn on the AC to cool the room while he takes a bath.
