Chapter 61 - OPHK: Chapter 61

A slender, pointed steel giant ship, measuring 155 meters in length and 75 meters in width. The entire battleship is identical to the "Sky Noble" from DNF, with only one difference: this iron ship is not equipped with cannons.

What cannons? Plank boarded the ship, and his cannons came with him.

Moreover, the annoying system had said that to equip this overpowered iron ship with the same type of cannons as in DNF, you must have the "Mechanist" profession at level X7.

So difficult...

"Have you thought of a name for this ship?" Tom asked.

Grimm pondered for a moment and said, "The Sky Noble?" — a bit edgy, a bit non-mainstream.

"Let's call it the Sea King!" Grimm grinned, showing his big white teeth.

"Sea King! Hahaha, what a powerful name, worthy of this ship!"

...

After boarding, Grimm chose a room where he could see the sea. Jianna was next to him, while Plank was forcibly pushed down to the bottom deck of the ship, in one of the ten high-class rooms, the worst among them.

"Captain, why? Why do I have to stay in a room sealed tight on all sides?" Plank was a bit unconvinced.

"Once we have new crew members, and he's uglier than you, you can give your room to him!" Grimm explained. "Room assignment is based on appearance. Although you're the ugliest now, that might not always be the case!"

Plank: "Looks like I'll be living here for the rest of my life?"

Grimm comforted him, "Be confident. Once you see Zolkin or the Brain-Raging Howl, you can move out!"

"Are they uglier than me?" Plank cheered.

"Stop talking nonsense. I want to give a big gift to the Navy Headquarters!" Grimm said, then took out a Den Den Mushi — a communication snail he stole from a Navy soldier last time.

...

At Marine Headquarters, Admiral Sengoku's office. Vice Admiral Garp handed a wanted poster to Fleet Admiral Kong.

Kong glanced at it. "Are you sure about raising Whitebeard's bounty to 2 billion Beli? Besides Rocks, no one else has that treatment!"

"Yes. They stole the Mythical Zoan fruit meant for the Celestial Dragons. Unlikely to be anything else — probably the Phoenix Fruit. The Whitebeard Pirates, another monster appears!" Sengoku sighed.

If the Roger Pirates were troublesome, then Whitebeard's crew was despair-inducing. "Edward Newgate will surely surpass Rocks. That day might not be far off! Some even say he'll be 'the strongest man in the world!'"

"Damn it!" Garp slammed the table, unable to hold back. It was only January 1495; he had already replaced his desk three times.

"Damn Newgate, the 'Strongest Man in the World' — what arrogance! Had I known, ten years ago, I'd pay any price to kill him in the God's Ancient Realm!" Garp regretted deeply.

At this moment, a rear admiral barged in without knocking, even breaking the door open.

"Marshal! Marshal! Things are bad — General Sengoku!" The rear admiral held a Den Den Mushi.

"What's the matter? Why are you so panicked?" Sengoku asked first.

"The phone — Tirion D. Grimm's phone!" The rear admiral handed him the Den Den Mushi.

"Go out first!" Sengoku shot a glance at the rear admiral, giving a command, then exchanged a look with Garp, handing the device to the Fleet Admiral.

"Moshi Moshi, this is Garp!" Garp answered.

"So it's you. Glad to talk to you. I think you should know who I am, right?" Grimm's voice came, sounding like he was munching on something.

"Grimm? You, a wanted criminal, how did you get our Navy's Den Den Mushi?" Garp asked.

"Of course I bought it. The black market in Water 7 is full of them. Don't you know?" Grimm started to bluff. "I looked at the wanted posters, and I'm not satisfied!"

The day after Grimm returned to Water 7, he saw his and Plank's wanted posters.

The Fake: Tirion D. Grimm, bounty 200,000,000 Beli — only catch alive.

The Ocean Calamity: Plank, bounty 150,000,000 Beli — alive or dead.

"Hmph, this is the consequence of opposing the government. You brought it on yourself!" Garp said seriously. "But if you admit your mistake to us Navy and the government now, I can help revoke your bounty."

"No, no, no," Grimm continued. "I think you misunderstood. I'm not satisfied with my bounty, especially the title. It's too stupid. I want you to change my title to 'Holy Light Grand Lord' or 'Eternal Angel.' The bounty is too low... Raise it a bit more. Two hundred million isn't even higher than Pizarro's. How about five hundred million? Otherwise, I'll lose face!"

As the Den Den Mushi calmly recounted Grimm's words, Sengoku's two eyebrows furrowed deeply, already furious!

Garp was even more furious, never having seen someone call the Navy headquarters demanding a bounty.

"Do you even know what you're saying? Tirion D. Grimm, do you know the consequences of angering the Navy?"

"It's no longer negotiable!" Grimm said helplessly.

"Nonsense!" Garp said, speechless.

"Fine then. Later, Marineford will face a barrage of shells. If you don't want casualties, tell your sailors to evacuate to the residential areas," Grimm said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Garp asked.

"Literally. I'm going to bombard your Navy Headquarters. Hurry up and notify your soldiers. Time's almost up — you have one minute!" Grimm declared.

Garp made a questioning face, then burst into laughter, as did Sengoku nearby. "Kid, that's the funniest threat I've ever heard. You want to bomb Marine Headquarters? Why not threaten to bomb Mary Geoise?"

In this era, even the best cannons have a range of about two thousand meters. Unless you're Karp, who treats cannonballs like stones!

To attack Marine Headquarters, you'd have to break through the Gate of Justice first. Is that even possible? Completely unrealistic.

Meanwhile, Grimm also considered bombing Mary Geoise, but it was impossible for now. Although Plank's ultimate move, "Cannon Barrage," could theoretically do a global bombardment, it required Grimm or his summoned followers to activate a "Map" first.

Once the map of Mary Geoise was unlocked, he could indeed launch an attack.

"Fleet Admiral Garp, your idea sounds exciting — bombing Mary Geoise. But your time is running out. You have thirty seconds!" Grimm's tone was serious. However, to Sengoku and Garp, Grimm seemed like a clown with no self-awareness.

"Grimm, you murdered government officials, you're heinous. Don't think you can threaten me. If you really could bomb the Marine Headquarters, I'd avoid the path of virtue and resign as Fleet Admiral!" Garp warned, throwing a tough talk — anyone can do that.

"Oh, that's interesting!" Grimm laughed. "But you still have 5... 4... 3... 2... 1."

"Shells are coming!"

For some reason, upon hearing that, Garp and Sengoku suddenly felt a chill. They both stood up and looked toward the square.

The square was surrounded on all sides by at least five thousand sailors training or patrolling, but no shells fell from the sky.

"Damn it, why do we believe this nonsense?" Garp said helplessly.

But as he finished speaking, Garp's expression turned to horror.

His Observation Haki caught something. Sengoku also said:

"No, we should believe it!"
