Chapter 101 - OPHK: Chapter 101

"When Hyde returned to the banquet hall, he faced Grimm, who was sitting opposite him, and said: 'It's getting late. How about staying in the royal palace tonight?'"

"Oh…"

Grimm smiled with great pleasure. In reality, Grimm had already perceived Hyde's killing intent. As expected, this old man had ill intentions.

But Grimm was also curious. Logically, Hyde already knew some of his abilities. With that in mind, how would he, whose strength was completely inadequate, try to kill him?

Grimm genuinely wanted to see what method this old man Hyde would use to kill him, so he chose to accept Hyde's "kind offer" and temporarily stayed in a luxurious palace.

However, it hadn't been long since Grimm entered when he suddenly heard footsteps at the door. A beautiful woman with flaxen-colored long hair tied in a ponytail, with slightly curled bangs falling to the left side of her face, walked into the bedchamber.

This woman had fair skin and exquisite features. What was even more striking was that she was wearing a military uniform with a cape draped over her back, perfectly accentuating her full and graceful figure.

"Greetings, my name is Alia. His Majesty the King has asked me to serve you," the woman said.

"A soldier?" Grimm asked, sitting on a chair made of special fur, crossing his legs, and clasping his hands on his knees, looking at the woman named "Alia."

"Yes!" Alia nodded and said, "Captain of the Second Military Unit of the Kingdom of Etkexay, in charge of the infantry!"

If she weren't wearing a military uniform and instead wore formal attire, no one would believe that this beautiful woman was a soldier.

After Alia answered, she closed and locked the door, then slowly took off her military robe, revealing her graceful figure underneath.

She was indeed a soldier. Although her arms showed no visible muscles, they were very firm, indicating she possessed a certain level of combat capability.

"Why were you sent?" Grimm asked with great interest.

"Because there aren't many beautiful women like me in the kingdom!" Alia said confidently. Ordinary women, unless they were in the sex trade, would not be able to remain as calm and composed as Alia in such a situation.

That calmness and composure weren't feigned. Her ability to reach this point was likely driven by her military duty, or perhaps Hyde held some leverage over her, forcing her to act this way.

"You're quite confident!" Grimm said, suddenly raising a hand. Holy Light flashed from his hand, enveloping Alia. She didn't feel anything amiss, only hearing Grimm continuously asking her questions, and she answered them all without reservation.

When Alia came to her senses, her face showed a shocked expression. Why? Why had she answered all his questions so unreservedly just now?

Those secrets that should have been hidden deep in her heart were all revealed to this young man before her.

"I didn't expect to uncover such a huge secret. A descendant of the Concordia royal family, Andoria Alessia!" Grimm said with a smile.

Originally, he just wanted to control this woman with the Hammer of Judgment and ask her what method she planned to use to kill him.

Seduce him with her beauty and then poison him? Or perhaps she had explosives implanted in her body, ready to detonate with a touch?

This was what Grimm was curious about, but he unexpectedly uncovered a shocking secret.

This woman had deceived everyone in the Kingdom of Etkexay. Her name wasn't "Alia" but "Andoria Alessia"! She was a descendant of the Concordia royal family, which was destroyed by the World Government ten years ago!

Grimm had read about the Kingdom of Concordia in books. It was a place known as the "Sky Country."

It wasn't that it was truly an island in the sky like in legends, but rather a country in the sky. The island had countless continuous, narrow, and extremely tall mountain peaks. The country was built between these peaks, with houses built on each peak.

Traveling up and down the mountains was very time-consuming, so special cable cars connected the mountains, allowing for transportation in the air. Hence, it was called the Sky Country.

Ten years ago, because the king was suspected of being involved in human modification research that allowed people to fly, he gravely violated World Law and his country was destroyed by the World Government.

Alessia was the youngest daughter of the king at that time, a princess.

Ten years ago, she was sixteen and ran away alone, wanting to see the outside world, thus escaping the disaster.

Later, after much hardship, she finally settled in the Kingdom of Etkexay.

The true reason for the destruction of the Sky Country was not the human experimentation but the hidden treasure that the World Government desired.

Grimm also knew something else. When he was drinking with Roger before, Roger had mentioned visiting the Kingdom of Concordia, but it seemed to be after the country was destroyed…

Alessia's anger towards the World Government needed no further explanation, but she also knew that in the face of such a behemoth as the World Government, she was less than an ant.

So, Alia joined the army in this country while waiting for an opportunity.

"That was the great Holy Light just now. You opened your heart to the Holy Light!" Grimm said proudly, then put his arm around the woman's slender waist. "Tell me, I'm very eager to know now, what is it that the World Government desires?"

Alessia's body was indeed very alluring, but Grimm had experienced many women in the past six months. It couldn't be helped; young men have strong desires, and he was still a wanted criminal.

So he wasn't in a hurry. He gently pushed Alessia away.

And what the World Government desired was not something that could be obtained at any time. "Put your clothes back on and tell me properly about this thing!"

Alessia, wearing only her undergarments, bit her red lips with her teeth, remaining motionless for a long time.

At this moment, Grimm said again: "How about it? Do you want to continue opening your heart to the Holy Light?"

Hearing Grimm's words, Alessia gave up resisting. She reached out, put on her military uniform, and tidied her cape.

"Alright, tell me. What is it that the World Government desires?" Grimm continued to ask.

Alessia glanced around. Grimm confirmed, "Walls have ears!"

Alessia closed her eyes for a moment and finally said in a deep voice: "Honestly, I don't know what it is!"

"Ah?" Grimm's eyes flashed with surprise!

"In the past ten years, I have returned to the ruins of my kingdom many times. Three years ago, I finally found what my father had hidden. But it wasn't the ultimate weapon I imagined, but a stone tablet, a giant red stone tablet!"

Alessia recalled: "A giant red cubic stone tablet with strange writing all over one side!"
