"Swapping places with a beast? Is that your power?" As Grimm spoke, he pulled out an object that looked like an ornate urn or casket.
Item: [Kel'Thuzad's Phylactery]
Requires 10,000 souls to summon the follower: Kel'Thuzad!
Souls Collected: 10,000 / 10,000
This item had popped up five years ago when Grimm was summoning followers at a tavern. Back then, he almost wanted to curse. Ten thousand souls didn't sound like much—just kill a bunch of pirates, right?
However… this phylactery only absorbed souls of pirates with a bounty over 50 million Berries, or Marines ranked Major and above!
[Kel'Thuzad]
Combat Level: Yonko. Once summoned, this follower possesses strength equal to that of an Emperor.
Traits:
1. [Ritual of Summoning]: Can summon the dead to fight (any soul stored within the phylactery is usable).
2. [Naxxramas]: Possesses full knowledge to construct the Necropolis of Naxxramas. Once summoned, can command all Bosses within it. Note: Summoned Bosses can only operate within 10km of Naxxramas.
3. [The Phylactery]: If this follower is killed, he can be resurrected directly from the Phylactery!
Abilities:
[Death and Decay]: Massive area-of-effect damage. No explanation needed—anyone who played WC3 or WoW knows what this does.
[Frost Nova]: Attempts to freeze enemies in range, followed by shattering ice shards. Deals damage to the soul!
[Chain Frost] (Ultimate): Releases bouncing orbs of freezing energy. Locks onto and attacks the target's soul—cannot be dodged, cannot be blocked!
[Glacial Spike]: Summons massive spikes of ice.
[Frost Armor]: Encases the target in a protective layer of ice.
[Blighted Aura]: Passively weakens enemies and strengthens undead allies.
[Ice Block]: Encases self in impenetrable ice, becoming immune to damage while recovering.
[Soul Rip]: Tears at the enemy's spirit directly.
[Comet Storm] (Ultimate): Summons a shower of frozen meteors. Creates a massive freezing field. Locks onto soul—cannot be dodged, cannot be blocked!
[Glacial Rift] (Secret Art): Opens a rift anywhere, spewing out Soul Chains to attack. Cooldown: None! Each use consumes one soul from the phylactery. Once empty, Kel'Thuzad returns to the casket, and the host must collect new souls to summon him again!

Seeing Grimm stop moving and pull out this mysterious box, the silver-haired powerhouse hesitated.
His Observation Haki was screaming warnings—the object in Grimm's hand radiated an intense, ominous danger.
His instincts were right. A cold, eerie wind began to blow from the item. White mist swirled around Grimm, condensing and solidifying until it slowly took the shape of a human figure.
What was this?
A skeleton? No, more precisely, it was only an upper body, floating in mid-air, dressed in incredibly ornate, tattered robes.
It was, in fact, a Lich!
The Great Lich, "Kel'Thuzad-dog"… wait no, just Kel'Thuzad.
"Master, your most loyal servant, Kel'Thuzad, stands ready to serve!" The lich bowed slightly toward Grimm, one bony hand placed respectfully over his chest.
"Block every enemy here. I have other business to attend to." Grimm grinned. He loved Kel'Thuzad's personality—just do the job, no useless chatter.
Grimm had no intention of wasting time here. He had just thought of something very fun to do…
When Kel'Thuzad's figure appeared on the screens in Sabaody, everyone felt a sudden chill run down their spines, as if the cold air was seeping right out of the images.
"What kind of creature is that?!"
"Not sure… probably a Devil Fruit user."
"But I've never seen anything with that form before!"
"Actually, I recognize that silver-haired old man. He's a top agent of the World Government, power comparable to an Admiral. I've seen his portrait before!"
---
Whoosh!
Grimm was enveloped in golden light and vanished instantly.
"Don't you dare run!" The silver-haired elder roared, preparing to give chase, but was stopped dead in his tracks by a freezing presence.
"Your opponent is me, living one." Kel'Thuzad's voice was deep, raspy, and filled with malice. The elder instinctively paused his movements.
Snap!
At the same moment, Soul Chains shot out from Kel'Thuzad, piercing directly toward the elder. The man crossed his arms, coating them in Armament Haki, and blocked the attack with a resounding clang.
The ground began to shake. Kel'Thuzad raised his other hand, firing another chain, but the elder moved with blinding speed, appearing instantly in front of the lich and grabbing him.
With a single motion, he hurled Kel'Thuzad kilometers away into the distance.
"So light…" the elder muttered in surprise.
Flying backward, the world spinning upside down, Kel'Thuzad looked at the palace growing further away and let out a twisted grin.
Ice energy surged in his hand, and a wave of absolute zero cold blasted back toward the elder, freezing everything in its path solid.
"You wanted to keep me away from the palace, did you?"
CRACK!
A massive glacier formed exactly where the elder had been standing, shards of ice converging inward like a cage. But the enemy was already gone.
"Teleportation? Interesting ability. A Devil Fruit, hehe… I would love to capture him and dissect his body!" Kel'Thuzad stabilized himself in the air, laughing eerily.
The elder reappeared instantly behind the lich, throwing a heavy punch. It was blocked by a sudden materialization of a chain, stopping his fist inches away and sending a shockwave rippling outward.
"Not bad at all." Blue flames flickered in the lich's empty eye sockets. "In the terms of this world… your strength is likely above that of a standard Admiral, isn't it?"
"This world?" The elder frowned. "Are you saying… you are not from this world?"
"Once I was not… but now I am." Kel'Thuzad sneered. Suddenly, a pool of corrupt blood appeared on the ground beneath them, spreading rapidly.
Countless dark shadows erupted from it, homing in on the elder and exploding violently.
Death and Decay!
The elder's expression shifted slightly. "Hmph… quite a fascinating power."
---
"Judging by the current situation, they seem evenly matched." The Five Elders remained seated in their office, watching the battle outside Mary Geoise through the Den Den Mushi.
"Where did that boy Grimm disappear to?"
"Unknown. We are searching the entire area. He cannot escape Mary Geoise easily… unless he has already left. But right now, I am more concerned about the situation at Marineford." The sword-wielding Elder adjusted his glasses.
"It is not looking good. Full-scale war has broken out. Although most of the monsters are dead, they have inflicted massive casualties on the Navy."
Hearing this, the long-haired Elder pondered for a moment. "In that case… should we order the 20,000 troops brought by Tsuru to return and reinforce?"
"Impossible!"
The mustached Elder immediately objected. "This skeleton-like creature is extremely powerful. We must ensure his elimination without fail. Furthermore, Grimm is still unaccounted for. Find him, and find him quickly!"
