On January 31, 2026, my Google account was hacked. Forbidden content was uploaded to my Drive, and as a result, I was completely banned. That was where I wrote, since I use GDocs, and it was also where I kept all my documents.
Due to the ban, not only was this novel completely lost, but so were four others I had. After seeing over a year of work disappear—around 2,000 pages (for this one alone)—I felt incredibly discouraged, as this is the novel I've put the most effort into.
Fortunately, I still have a few backups of my chapters, though most are Beta versions, which will help guide me for the upcoming ones.
Another good thing is that I can take a more "calm" direction now. In my previous edition, I was writing it in a way where you guys would have practically said, "WTF, this is just p0rn disguised as a novel, and it hasn't even been a month yet" lol. Besides that, I can add more chapters and make it feel more natural. This is why I have decided to completely restart this novel... again.Also, since the original first chapter, "Arrival," had too much text and worldbuilding, I've decided to turn Chapter 2, "Detective," into Chapter 1 to integrate the worldbuilding more naturally.
Because of this, you readers on this site—if there are any—will see that there are only 4 chapters now. Additionally, since this is a fresh rewrite, it will take me a little while to upload them; I have another novel in progress, I'm still recovering from the emotional blow, and I'll likely start looking for a job again in March (I'm not rich, writing is more of a hobby for me). So, there might be a chapter every 3, 5, or 7 days, depending on how much is already written.
And for the English speakers, I've decided to upload this in English. However, I'm using Gemini for the translation, so you might find some errors (you've probably noticed). This novel is originally written in Spanish, as you'll realize later on. I did it this way because, as I said, this is more of a hobby than a serious project.
