Mila scowled at him. She was trying to control the situation, but he had already declared his decision. She turned to the middle-aged man.
"Mr. Lee, please calm down first," she said in Mandarin, her tone composed. "Your men tried to violate me. Dominic was furious, and he warned them. But they, instead of accepting their mistakes, blamed me and accused me of something I didn't do."
Mr. Lee wouldn't listen to her. He snorted. Ignoring her, he looked at Dominic.
"For a woman, you hurt my men. They were my core team members, my trusted ones. And you shot them? It's equal to shooting me."
He glanced at Mila scornfully. "It's just a woman. You can find many. But my men are precious, can't be replaced. Don't you know it?"
Mila tried to convince him. "Mr. Lee…"
"Enough," he barked, eyes blazing. "You caused this. You are the reason for this fallout. I won't forgive you."
