"Are those the ones I had him set aside?"

Kaito nodded at Shizu's words, then set Ririka-chan down carefully. "I see. Then I should go have a look. They're coming with us, after all."
"Ririka-chan, stay here with Shizu-nee and the others for a bit. I have something to sort out."
Ririka-chan nodded obediently. "Okay, Kaito-nii, go ahead!"
"Ririka-nee-chan, let's play Jungle Chess! Shinobu-neechan gave it to me!"
"Coming!"
Kaito watched the little girls settle in together, shook his head with a quiet smile, and walked out of the tent.
Inside a Tent
"Why are you here too, woman!"
"Oh? If you can be here, why on earth can't I?"

"Compared to a woman like you who solves every problem with her sword, it's hardly a surprise I'm still standing!"

Both women snorted in perfect unison and turned sharply away from each other.

Kaito lifted the tent flap and stepped inside, took one look at everything unfolding before him, and spoke.
"Looks like I've come at the wrong time."
