Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: The Awakening Crack

The World Holds Its Breath

Inside the collapsing

Aeralis Ruins—

Time itself felt distorted.

The cracked seal between

Ignis

and

Vernix

no longer pulsed—

It throbbed.

Like something alive.

Trying to be born.

From within the fracture—

A massive shadow hand had emerged.

Incomplete.

Formless.

Yet undeniably real.

It pressed against the barrier—

Expanding the crack further.

Elior stared.

"…That thing…"

His voice barely came out.

"…What is it…?"

Behind him—

Dr. Vael spoke with urgency:

"…It's not fully formed yet."

A pause.

"…But that…"

His eyes trembled slightly.

"…is the sealed core of the Abyss."

At the center—

The resonance intensified.

Lunashade (unstable, struggling)

Shiny Lunashade (calm, controlled)

Their energies intertwined—

Feeding the awakening.

Umbrael stood still.

Watching.

"…It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Elior Snaps Back

"…Stop calling this beautiful!"

Elior shouted.

"…It's destroying everything!"

Umbrael's expression didn't change.

"Destruction is part of balance."

A pause.

"Fate demands it."

Elior stepped forward.

"…No."

"That's where you're wrong."

"…Fate isn't absolute."

Elior's voice steadied.

"…Because people can change it."

His eyes burned with determination.

"…That's what faith is."

For a brief moment—

The carving of

Vernix

glowed brighter.

A faint smile in Umbreal face.

"…Naive."

He raised his hand again—

His Lunashade responded instantly.

Shiny Lunashade

released a massive wave of dark energy—

Elior's shouted

"…Lunashade!"

Lunashade Abyss Form roared—

Matching the energy—

But losing control again.

The two energies collided—

Directly in front of the seal.

BOOM—

The crack expanded violently.

Something More Emerges

From within—

A second shape formed.

A head.

Eyes.

A partial body.

Still incomplete—

But growing.

Dr. Vael's Panic

"…At this rate—"

"…it will fully awaken!"

Elior clenched his fist tightly.

"…Then we stop it NOW."

Dr. Vael shouted:

"If you interfere now—"

"The backlash could destroy Lunashade!"

For a moment—

Everything froze.

Elior looked at Lunashade.

Struggling.

Losing itself.

Then at the growing abyss.

"…I won't lose you."

He whispered.

Elior stepped forward—

Toward the collision.

Toward the awakening.

Umbrael watched carefully.

Curious.

As Elior moved—

The carvings behind him reacted—

Ignis began to glow—

Dimly.

Vernix shined brighter—

Responding.

As if both legends—

Had finally noticed him.

And the journey continues....
