Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: Return

The Road Away

The wind that passed through the

Aeralis Ruins

no longer carried pressure—

Only memory.

Elior walked down the broken path leading away from the ruins.

Behind him—

No explosions.

No enemies.

Just silence.

Beside him—

Eclipse Lunashade

Its steps were light.

Balanced.

But its presence—

Heavier than ever.

"…You feel it too, right?"

Elior said quietly.

Lunashade didn't respond with sound—

But its aura flickered slightly.

Far beneath reality—

Something still existed.

Abyssion

Not gone.

Not active.

Waiting.

Elior's Thought

"…We didn't win."

He stopped walking.

"…We just… delayed it."

Eclipse Lunashade stepped slightly ahead—

Then turned back toward him.

As if saying—

That's enough for now.

A Small Smile

"…Yeah."

Elior chuckled.

"…Guess it is."

From behind—

"Still talking to yourself?"

Elior turned.

And smirked.

Mira stood there—

Arms crossed.

"…You disappeared for days."

"…You know that, right?"

Elior Shrugs

"…Got busy."

Mira looked at Lunashade—

Then back at Elior.

"…Yeah."

"…I can see that."

For a moment—

No jokes.

No teasing.

Just relief.

"…You're okay."

Mira said softly.

"…Yeah."

Elior replied.

"…We are."

They began walking together—

Away from the ruins.

Toward the next town.

As they walked—

The environment slowly changed.

More people.

More voices.

But also—

More tension.

Rumors Spread

"…Did you hear?"

"…Team Umber collapsed…"

"…Something worse is coming…"

Mira frowned.

"…You caused a mess."

Elior smirked.

"…Fixed one."

The town ahead wasn't peaceful—

It was cautious.

Like everyone felt something coming.

Far away—

Inside a dim structure.

Burn marks still visible.

A destroyed emblem on the floor:

Team Umber

A man stood in the shadows.

Same as before.

Watching.

Waiting.

Footsteps echoed behind him.

Multiple figures.

Not soldiers.

Not followers.

Something else.

His Voice

"…They broke fate."

"…They stabilized the abyss."

A pause.

"…Good."

He turned slightly—

Face still hidden.

"…Now the world believes it can change."

Silence.

Then—

A faint smile.

"…That's when it's easiest to break."

One of the figures behind him spoke:

"…Leader… what's our next move?"

The man stepped forward—

Light briefly touching his face—

But not enough to reveal him fully.

"…We don't rebuild what was lost."

"…We replace it."

Back to Elior

At the edge of the town—

Elior stopped again.

Something felt off.

"…Mira…"

"…Stay alert."

Mira's Reaction

"…You felt it too?"

Elior nodded slowly.

"…Yeah."

From a distant rooftop—

A shadow watched them.

Unmoving.

Silent.

As the wind carried a single thought across the city:

"The revolution… has already begun."

And the journey continues....
