Chapter 6 - Is he really gone?

Ayaan, Rishabh, and Pankaj talk to the boy (spirit), but they don't learn much from him. And when they find out that the boy (spirit) is now going to live with them, the ground seems to slip from beneath their feet.

Ayaan:

(Scared)

"Bro, please leave us… go catch someone else."

Rishabh:

(Scared)

"Yeah… anyway, our taste isn't even good right now."

Boy (Spirit):

"Hey, don't be scared. I'm a vegetarian ghost."

Saying this, he starts walking out of the room. Just then, Rishabh speaks nervously—

Rishabh:

(Scared)

"Y-you… you're leaving?"

The boy keeps walking but suddenly stops. The moment he stops, all three of their heartbeats speed up. Slowly, he turns back and says—

Boy (Spirit):

"No… you all look tired. Get some rest. I'll watch a horror show for now. You know, I just became a ghost recently, so I don't know much yet."

After saying this, he walks out of the room.

The three, frightened, pick up the blanket and sit on the bed. From outside, the sound of the TV turning on is heard again.

All three sit together tightly under one blanket on the bed. Because of fear, they are unable to sleep.

After a long while, they finally fall asleep.

It is now 10 in the morning. All three are still sleeping.

Suddenly, Ayaan's phone alarm rings. Hearing the alarm sound, all three wake up in fear.

Rishabh:

(Scared, half asleep)

"Gho… gho… ghost… bro please don't kill me…"

Pankaj:

"Damn it, the phone is ringing, how many times do I have to sa—"

Ayaan:

(Scared)

"Forget that… what happened to the ghost?"

Rishabh:

(Scared)

"B-bro please don't talk about him."

The three get off the bed and come out of the room. The TV is off, and no one is visible outside. They check the entire house, office, and even the terrace, but the boy is nowhere to be found.

They return to the living room, play a song on the TV, and start dancing happily.

After some time, the second-floor door opens… and the boy (spirit) returns. There is a sandalwood mark on his forehead, and he is holding laddoos in his hand while eating them.

Seeing them dancing, he also starts dancing with them.

After a while, the three notice him… and out of fear, they jump onto the nearby sofa.

Rishabh:

(Scared)

"I swear on my mother, we were just dancing randomly!"

Pankaj:

"Hey, he's still here… we thought that—"

Before Pankaj can finish, Ayaan and Rishabh quickly cover his mouth.

Boy:

"You guys have a lot of fun. Here, have some prasad. I just came from the temple."

Ayaan:

(Scared)

"No… no… no…"

Pankaj stretches his hand forward, but Ayaan and Rishabh grab him and drag him into the room.

The boy (spirit) sits on the sofa outside.

After some time, when they get the chance, the three go to the terrace and start making a plan to drive the ghost away.

Ayaan:

"What should we do, man? How do we get rid of him?"

Pankaj:

"We'll just say our family doesn't agree."

Ayaan:

(Angry)

"He's not your girlfriend who'll leave after hearing that!"

Rishabh:

"I know a baba. He's an expert at driving away ghosts. He'll definitely get rid of him too."
