Ning Rongrong nodded seriously. Gu Xuan's fully restored Sword Dragon Eight Wings unfurled as he shot into the air, stopping thirty meters in front of the Evil Spirit Orca King.
"Vile beast, why do you block the path?" Gu Xuan asked calmly.
The Evil Spirit Orca King was furious at being called a "vile beast." It roared, speaking in the human tongue, "Despicable human, this is the territory of my Evil Spirit Orca clan. How dare you trespass!"
This was nonsense; Xiao Bai would never lead them into the orca's territory. Gu Xuan realized there was no reasoning with this bloodthirsty beast. He had originally thought about making it a Soul Spirit—if it were a Soul Spirit, it would achieve a form of eternal life. But seeing its unreasonable nature, he decided to scrap that plan.
However, a hundred-thousand-year Soul Spirit could still be a powerful assistant in a spiritual state. He decided to beat it into submission first; if it still refused, he would kill it and take the soul ring and soul bone.
