The first phase of trading with the survivor camp was a success and Karina had herself vouched for the items they had sent. But even she was surprised that Old Joe didn't send any Evo-Gear despite the request.
As much as she wanted to charge back into the camp and bring the gear, Aiden stopped her. Firstly, there weren't many people who could use the Evo-Gear in his faction. So he wasn't in any hurry to get them.
Besides, even Marcus mentioned something was off about the camp. Hopefully, it was Old Joe acting out. If that were the case, it would make Aiden's job easier when he eventually made a move to absorb the camp.
But before that, he needed them to do the thing he had hired them for.
