"L-Lily! Mom is… just exercising!" Alisha yelled from the balcony, but Lily didn't respond.
The little girl's stares went right through her.
"No! No! No! What have I done…? I have traumatized her!"
Alisha fell to her knees, weeping for her shameless behavior. How would she ever show her face to Lily now?
Suddenly, she felt someone wrap her arms around her while patting her head. Alisha should have hated Aiden for what he did, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it.
"I-I'm a terrible mother!" she wept, burying her head in Aiden's chest. "I don't deserve to be a mother—"
"She can't see you," Aiden interjected and flicked her forehead.
"W-What? But she was—"
Instead of explaining anything, he just bought Lily's favorite chocolates from the shop. The little girl loved it so much that she would get up from her sleep the moment she smelled it.
