"Jewell! Drop everything right now!" Aiden yelled, kicking open his office doors.
Jewell was busy with another patient, but the moment he heard Aiden's voice, he dropped everything. When he noticed Lily in Aiden's arms, his face was drained of color.
"What happened to her?" he asked, guiding Aiden to put Lily on a bed there.
"Someone attacked her," Aiden said through gritted teeth.
Cue another shocked expression from Jewell.
Even when James had tried abusing Lily's power, he hadn't caused any actual harm to her. Still, Aiden made him live a fate worse than death. He couldn't imagine what would happen to the people who made her bleed.
At that moment, he knew the people responsible wouldn't get a painless death, if they were to get the release of death at all. Jewell examined Lily's wounds and frowned. It was a deep gash, but thankfully, it wasn't untreatable.
"I would need—" Jewell had barely said anything when Glenn arrived there with a body bag.
