I was about to head down to book another room, but the flirtatious Minister grabbed both my suitcase and his own, walking out of the elevator toward the reserved suite. I wouldn't have set foot in that room if he hadn't been holding my wallet hostage in his hand.
"Hey! Give it back. I'm going to go get my own room!" He didn't even blink. He just sat on the bed and started rummaging through my wallet like it was the most natural thing in the world.
"Go unpack the clothes and put them in the closet. Iron my suit, too. I don't want to have to wake you up to do it in the morning."
"Are you not listening to me? I said I'm booking my own room!"
He pulled out every single card, along with the four hundred Singapore dollars I had, and tossed the empty wallet back at me. "Go ahead. Just make sure you come up to prep my suit in the morning."
"How far are you going to take this prank? You confiscated my cash and my cards—how am I supposed to book a room?" Look at that face. He is so incredibly provoking. Don't make me lose my cool, I'm warning you!
"That's up to you. Just finish putting my clothes away before you leave." With that, he grabbed a towel and disappeared into the bathroom.
How could I leave? I didn't have a cent on me! In the end, I sat there ironing his suit until I finished right as he walked out of the shower. "Oh, you're still here? I gave you permission, you know. You can go sleep in Jao Peem and Jao Pat's room if you want."
"I don't even know which room is theirs! You're so calculating. If you wanted to be alone with me, why didn't you just say so? Are you afraid that Net-Abhor-Sorn girl will find out you brought your wife and kids along?"
"Her name is Net-Apsorn, which means 'Angel.' With that tone of voice... are you jealous?"
"There is nothing about you worth being jealous over. Don't get ahead of yourself, Sir!" I stuck my tongue out at him before darting into the bathroom.
He really is a dangerous man, just like the twins warned me. I can't trust him. What should I do? If I go back out there, I'm definitely a goner. I'm not ready to sacrifice my body yet! It's too soon, and I'm still not used to a man's touch—even though he's already touched every single inch of me. "I'm just going to soak in here for a long, long time. Wait all you want!"
My eyes started to get heavy after scrolling through my phone in the bathroom for over an hour. Travel fatigue was finally kicking in. Still, I had to resist. He's probably asleep by now; even I'm about to pass out. With that thought, I let out a big yawn and opened the bathroom door.
Oof!
I felt like I walked straight into a pillar. I looked up. Oh, crap. That long face and tall frame... it's not a ghost. Is he seriously camping out here waiting for me? I'm dead. I'm so dead.
