The guard stumbled over his words. "Lady Sonya's chambers are empty, sir. Her belongings are gone. The night staff reported seeing her leave through the east wing around midnight with packed luggage. She didn't say where she was going, just that she—" He swallowed hard. "That she couldn't stay here anymore."
"Because of HIM," Cyrus snarled, whipping toward Kaleb. "Because you broke her."
"I didn't touch—"
Cyrus didn't let him finish. He launched himself at Kaleb with the full force of Knox unleashed, crimson eyes blazing as his fist connected with Kaleb's face with a sickening crunch. Kaleb's head snapped back, blood spraying from his nose, but Wrath doesn't retreat—it retaliates.
