āI pressed back against the wall, Aurora's weight warm against my shoulder, and counted. Twelve beds passed. Twenty. Thirty. More kept coming, a never-ending stream of bodies being funneled toward the vault.
āAurora's hand tightened on my suit, and I felt her heartbeat quicken against my back.
