Lucifer ripped his longsword free from the skull of the final Umbral Behemoth.
The large headless monster swayed for a fraction of a second before collapsing backward. Its heavy, black Umbral Ore plating cracked against the floor with a loud sound.
The Warlord did not pause to watch it die. He spun, his eyes tracking the next target.

High above the slaughter, Vexia hovered on her massive, translucent red bat wings. The Sanguine Princess raised her pale hands, her eyes burning with fierce crimson light.
